- Well this was the day! Rented a pontoon boat from Island Watersports Company on Okaloosa Island, Florida. What a blast we had. I had a boat for many years about 30 years ago and forgot how much fun they are. Although the motto goes, "the best 2 days of boat ownership are the day you buy it and the day you sell it," we still had a blast. I guess that's because we had no issues and took it back at the end of the day. No breakdowns, no troubles, no cleaning afterwards. Crab Island is so beautiful, we enjoyed every minute of it. Can't wait to do it again. We say different types of crabs, beautiful birds and million dollar boats. Thanks for watching and we will see you soon!

Those beaches are so nice. We did a day trip from Disney one year to the Tampa area. Swam with the Manatees. That was another fun trip

Great video. My family’s first trip to Crab Island was 20 years ago in May. It wasn’t near as crowded as it is now but I was surprised how cold the water was. 👍🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
We were surprised too. Our oldest is a Tarheel.
That sailboat is where I proposed on the sunset fireworks cruise. I live just on the other side of the bay.

We enjoy Myrtle too but that water at the Gulf was just amazing. The sand too, looked and felt so clean.

I just looked on there websites and it says the 50 HP is $375.00 to $575 for a 4,6 or 8 hour rental. The 90 HP is $450 to $650 for 4,6 or 8 hour rentals and lots of extras probably like renting life jackets and insurance and taxes, probably something extra for this and that.
It's slightly higher during the upcoming holiday week. $500 for 4 hours, $700 for 8 hours @ Boogie's.
@@gingerleegirl6697 Well that’s pretty high. I actually have my own Tritoon but I’ve never pulled it that far. I think for that cost it would be worth it to just pull my boat. Lol

Sorry, Dawn does all that and I kept forgetting to ask. She said we paid $250 for 4 hours. That seemed like a good amount of time but that may be because that water was cold. Maybe it's higher now, we went in April.
Oh come on man..! It's not cold it's very nice.👍.. I was there to and it's very pretty and the sands on beaches are very white almost like walking on powder sugar.. the water so clear u can see the little yellow and blue tipped fishes ... Very nice place I recommend to anyone Destin Florida... P.S EVERYONE PLS GO TO MCALISTER'S RESTAURANT THERE AS U CROSS OVER THE BRIDGE.. BY THE WATER GO IN THERE THEY HAVE ACTUALLY REAL MONEY 💸 TAPED UP ON THE WALLS AND ROOF.. THE WAITRESS SAID THERE IS THOUSANDS 💸 TAPED UP..!!!
Absolutely beautiful, but it was cold. Haha. It's Mcguires. I have their shirt on right now. It was so good we ended up eating there 4 times. You'll find some of our dollar bills hanging there. We were there the first week of April. The weather was great. Hot during the day and cooler at night. A couple nights Madi wore a sweatshirt, i wdid shorts and short sleeves all week. Water was freezing though. Absolutely beautiful area. Can't wait to go back.

Destin west rv resort. Really nice place. You get access to everything at the hotel/resort across the street too.
The water is very cold up until about the end of May.

It's Dawn's sister and her husband. But we have some people we've met along the way who we still meet up with.

It was April 2021. We were surprised it was so cold. Then again it wasn't extremely hot out of the water so that was a big plus.
