Någon 2021 uppdatering? Fortsätt med det fina arbetet 👍🏻
Ja det är nog dags för det. Lite har ju hänt
Great vid buddy
About 1/3 of the winter weather here is like that, im thinking about adding about 5kw of used panels, to hopefully get about 2kw on cloudy days, and charge faster on semi sunny days, using the excess in Sumer to pump water, for a pumped hydro, and hot water, using the water when needed only, although I saw something about compressed air storage! Maybe that could be used, spin a turbine to generate power with air, at about 250psi, I haven't figured any effiencies, or cost for storage, looks like I'll try anything to prevent paying for power! Even crazy things!!
Best storage is to sell to grid. storing in air or such is No use. IF so heat water and use for pool or shower :)
woow
Try Hipar VAWT made in poland, I have one. Is low cost and good compromise of simplicity vs more complex and often more expensive hawt.
Can't wait to see the Victron setup it's what I want to use 👍
Yes 👍
You are using a lot of batteries in your projects. Can you build a project that will test one of these batteries for a certain amount of time? For example, it will charge and discharge a cell for as long as you leave the device powered. So it starts by charging the cell, then when it gets to approx 4.2V it will stop charging and will start discharging up to approx 3V and then start charging again and so on and maybe measure either the number of times it charged the cell or the amount of energy used in the process. This would be very useful when you want to check the health of a cell over some time and/or a number of cycles. Imagine if you want to buy some cells from aliexpress or similar but you don't trust that the cells will last very long. You can buy one and have it in this device for a few months. A cell that is advertised for 2500mah will take less than 125 days to go through 500 cycles if the battery holds its capacity or less if it will decrease. After this, you could retest the capacity and see how much you have left. Best wishes!
There is a Guy on second life storage forum that does this. :) And yes its easily build with an esp and some things around it.
YIKES ! 7kW *h* that's a massive amount of power just for the inverter idling. Victron is definitely the way to go
7kw?? 7kwh.... Yes its heavy. 3phases hybrid cost alot
@@DIYTechRepairs Well Spotted :) - I've corrected it now
@@DIYTechRepairs Great video as usual! Have you switched to Victron yet?
Looking forward for the victron equipment are you going to do three phase?
Im doing 3phase right now. Running MPP though.
@@DIYTechRepairs which victron inverter are you going to use ?
😎👍
Tuanks for your useful video
I am wondering why viewers just watch the video but they dont smash the like button.
3k views and just 190 likes :(
Thanks. Good question. :)
@@DIYTechRepairs we should learn after we get useful information from anybody , support him by like subsribe and writing comments to let him make other videos in better quality .
excuse me sir cause English is not my main language and its poor ;)
goodluck
@@DIYTechRepairs I wish one day I can collect many good cells and make my own battery packs ;) . I still am in begin of the way.
I bought some laptop batteries but their cells was so bad with self discharging and 300~700 mah capasity :( and it made me disappointed.
my country is 3rd country and I cant find good cells like you
@@geopeliaaow3768 thanks. Yes a like or comment do alot!
About efficiency is solark unbeatable or e3dc sistem...👍
Mooore videeeos please... 👍😎🖖
how many cycles one can get from such batteries?
Liion around 300-1200. LiFePo4 3000-7000
Where did the investor buy?
Which inverter you want to add?
first! You need to fix that video flicker. happened on last 2 videos now.
that's a looooot of battery packs.. good stuff :)
The video flicker is that darn OSMO camera that doesnt like when i move it. Doesnt matter what settings but it doesnt like the 50hz fluoresent lights in the ceiling :( I dont have any other camera to work with right now so have to live with it.
Thought will try one more settings. Im running it 60fps and antiflicker on. Perhaps 50fps with antiflicker is faster hmm
Hey. Danish guy here. About to assemble my first power wall, 20kwh.
I was thinking of buying the green monster inverter, but now I saw your video saying 7kwh idle consumption.
Can you please elaborate on how that’s even possible?
I’ve read the spec sheet, and haven’t noticed any number that could indicate that. Which spec should I look for in order to calculate my loss?
Tack så mycket
God weekend 😀
It consumes around 80w per phase Idle. Thats 240w for all 3. They dont mention.it since then they wouldnt sell any :)
DIY Tech & Repairs well thats just freaking insane!! Are you sure Victron doesn’t do the same?
@@MIkke1984lol its normal. You get what you pay. Victron is less Idle load. Note that the Green machine is a hybrid and hybrids consume more. Most cheap inverters are between 40-80w per phase where offline inverters are around 40-60. Victron is between 15-40w per phase. But they cost 3*
DIY Tech & Repairs thanks for sharing your knowledge!
DIY Tech & Repairs just checked prices for Victron energy quattro. Damn they ser expensive. Like 30.000 SEK a pcs. There must be other alternatives.
if you are ready to part ways with your mpi, please do let me know..:)
Hi, thanks for your Video's. I know you have the Baitrum BMS, I wanted to ask your thoughts on the REC BMS please? Thank You
Thanks. Havent tested rec myself but People say its goos
Thank you for your reply, I am having a hard time deciding that's all. REC is made in Postojna, Slovenia and Baitrum is made here in Australia were I am. I am from America originally, been in Australia for the last 13 years. I have been doing solar for over 10 years now and lithium phosphate batteries for a short time, I have learned alot from your video's! Thank you. I really like how you salvage batteries and stuff to reuse. You seam really smart and honest. I am a major researcher on many things. I can email you some of my research on lithium lifepo4 batteries if you would like. I am not sure how to give you my email address without everyone else's seeing it? Agin thanks for all your hard work, tring to teach others. I respect that. Kind regards
@@convertedaussiejedi2135 My email can be found in at me section. You should look at and compare Specs and functions on what you need.
So solar makes 2 to 5kWh and the inverter uses 7kWh? Thats a lot
Yes. During Summer solar makes 100kwh. Thats the difference of Summer vs Winter and that cheap inverters dont pay off
@@DIYTechRepairs Most electronics can work off from 48V DC directly, including my 40" LCD TV, Dell monitor, laptop. etc. No inverter needed.
