Do they ever wonder if that’s the reason why veterans can’t assimilate? They’ve been conditioned to see anyone outside of their platoon as a potential threat to their lives

The SEAL is responding to Sean 100% wrong and this SEAL is right. First off they do two totally different jobs. Secondly neither guy could survive the other one's training. Hi, I’m a woman in her 20s and I’m training to become a U.S. Navy SEAL.
What advice would you give for women that want to be SEALs? If you had to go to BUD/S again, how would you prepare differently? What books or workout programs would you recommend?
Most female SEAL candidates struggle with carrying the boats and logs, doing pull ups, having grip strength and completing the “Dirty Name” on the obstacle course. Also, a lot of female SEAL candidates break their legs or develop stress fractures.
A woman made it to day 4 of BUD/S first phase recently but she quit on day 4. That’s the farthest a woman has made it. Her BUD/S classmates told me that her class hated her and ran her out from under the boat because she was a boat ducker. Nine women have entered the SEAL pipeline since 2016!
Bruh anyone who becomes a seal doesn’t go “oh I can’t wait to win hearts and minds”. Bruh their job is to kill people. Andy trying to make it seem like the profession isn’t about being violent. Anyone that goes into an infantry related field knows that’s the job. They may not be full blown psychopaths but they definitely got some traits of one
Andy is always so down to earth and straight up normal in every interview. He seems so grounded and humble.
I love that he came back and corrected this absolute unprofessionalism.

Glad stumpf is on here, he has an amazing podcast and hope more people will gravitate to it. He’s all almost always well spoken and interesting takes on situations. This one for example, I bet pbd and crew didn’t expect this angle.
My brother was a Bud. He died at 51. Alot of his platoon showed up. One of them took his 14 year old daughter to raise
because she was in a bad place. That is the secret. They love eachother and are loyal beyond their deployment.,
Do they ever wonder if that’s the reason why veterans can’t assimilate? They’ve been conditioned to see anyone outside of their platoon as a potential threat to their lives

Well compared to the host of the BS show, he is intelligent.

Spec Ops community should stay quiet like they should do. That is why they were called ‘The silent Warriors.’ The Mystic is all gone from the Seal Community, too many movies, making them into Hollywood and it makes the Seal Community not the same as it was. The Seal Community has to go back into the mystic that all Spec Ops are known for.
Yea I agree. This guy shouldn’t be responding all sensitively, regardless of what Sean said. The guy in original video

Former Marine here...no sniper, just simple 0311.....2 deployments, worked with 2 different seal teams. My opinion, one was 100% legit and deserving of all accolades that came their way; the other was kind of a joke. Extremely disappointing....everything rises or falls on leadership

@@mvallejr1 Seals dont have a history of being humble or sparing to each other. Chris Kyle went after one of his own--Governor Jesse Ventura--and Kyle got his ass handed to him in court for lying. Eddie Gallagher was thrown under the bus by his platoon because he wasn’t up to par with their standards. And we wont even mention the Seals who go after Dave Goggins…. Seals are badass but I've been to a lot of extreme long races, 24 hour races with swimming, riding, hiking etc. The seals are usually one of the first teams to drop out for some reason or they finish with a later time compared to others. They do go through extreme training but it kinda ends at some point. Seals are not the pinnacle of fitness. So as much as Sean Strickland is a jerk, he might be kinda correct. Most seals might not be able to keep up.

You consider the likes of Andy, DJ shipley etc the reason why they tell stories because it helps with recruiting, it's like tim kennedy with the US army he's allowed to drop nuggets of info because it gets people interested in joining the military and special forces, I agree British attitude is totally different, I used to work with a ex SAS officer at the Imperial war museum(he was a sandhurst trained army lifer), I remember working on a exhibition on covert warfare with him like you said blood from a stone.

I 100% agree with Andy... A real professional would never put themselves online, acting emotional in front of a camera because some random guy on the internet said SEALs couldn't handle training with him. A real seal or military professional would never need to justify who they are.
It's why tim kennedy was so scary, he was never cutting pro wrestling style promos before fights because he didn't need to, there was also that brazilian fighter who was on their equivalent of swat who was the same as well.
Hold on bro. If the guy was a seal, who are you to tell him to shut up? If he did the thing he gets to talk about it. Your doing it now
The SEAL is responding to Sean 100% wrong and this SEAL is right. First off they do two totally different jobs. Secondly neither guy could survive the other one's training. Sean never said he could do what they do, he said they couldn't hang training with him, an active MMA former champion, in MMA training, that's another fact. You can die doing rock climbing training, that doesn't mean rock climbing training proves you can do MMA training just because you can die doing it. He really didn't think about what Sean said, he had a knee jerk reaction to perceived pissing contest and proceeded to piss on the toilet rim himself. Tim Kennedy is a Green Beret and a pro MMA fighter. He still lost to guys who just train in gyms all day
