@@julianmounser3241 Hello Julian! All Musicians carry the No. 7 Bayonet. Nowadays they're called Musicians, not Bandsmen, not since the formation of the Corps of Army Music in the 1990s. The Guards Musicians are no longer deployable as their Ceremonial role is far more important to them. In such a case that they were needed for War Duties, they would take up positions of national security and home defence. But, Guards Musicians did originally act as stretcher bearers, and Medical orderlies. But, the Medical Duties have now passed on to the Regional Bands, who are also trained in CBRN (Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear) Warfare. Each year a different regional Band receives training and is on high alert readiness. They would provide support to a field hospital, and in turn would be in charge of the CBRN decontamination unit, and takeover the field hospital. When CBRN duties are completed they would run the administrative side of the field hospital. Hope this helps!
