I’ve always said this about Kyrie. Kyrie doesn’t have a “go-to” move, no signature size up move, his game is literally based on what the defense is doing. Just counter moves. Whatever the defense is trying to make him do, he has a counter. And he does it so effortlessly, fluid and on the fly. Like such an incredible basketball savant, crazy IQ and muscle memory.

Watching his workouts where he gets triple teamed and has to continue his dribble and make a read and/or finish gives us a little insight. But if you watch him closely nearly all of his dribble moves are done to keep the ball away from the defender, not too shift them like a lot of guys. Guarding him is like being in an argument that you can’t win.

When he said kyrie plays with no plan it made me think of like neymar jr. Like are you really thinking or are you just playing and reacting. Like there's this little study of neymar jr take it with a grain of salt or not that says during his dribbles his brain activity isn't so much. Meaning every move isn't necessarily a thought it's like being in a natural instinct mode or flowing like water state. I wonder if kyrie is like that as well.
