    I just feel like I'm on indras side here lol pike massacred 2 villages she should've at least marched to get him and the ones who acted with him the way they did with finn. I feel like clarke was being really manipulating and using lexas feelings for her to her advantage here

      Tbh i feel Like that was Just for the Plot, it was obvious her people wouldnt Take such a decision lightly or even Accept it and as a Leader with the knowledge of all the commanders before her she should have known. Sure Clark was definitly able to manipulate her but to that extend ? Would have been more believable If they executed the people that caused this (pike).... Even Just taking one Life for that would have been unusual enough for the Grounders .....

      +Diem Truc I don't agree with you. This WAS thinking with her head. Feelings of hatred in her heart would stir Lexa in commanding war but when thinking with her head about the consequences on the long run, this is the right step. Like Kane said, Lexa is a visionary leader.

      +Diem Truc she was thinking with her vagina. clark is REALLY good in bed. it is a shame because it got her killed. which will obviously end up worse for everyone. "ITISOURWAY!?!?!?!?" is more than savage ignorance. being "that" way is how they have survived for so long. i can understand not wanting to butcher the intire 13th clan down to the last screaming baby... but this is rediculous... pike will not show any such "hesitation" in the days ahead. revenge is a servival stratergy... its deep and exists for a reason... such B.S. stupid clark.

      +10animallover10 no in the long run this is the wrong step. it is not about hatred, but survival. it is all god and well desicrating your own culture that allowed you to survive the nuclear appocalypse for centures as non hiddeously mutated and deformed human beings...for flowers smiles and peace. but when your enemy wont hesitate to kill your kiddy winks out of convience... it wont end well... no matter how hard you tear your own people appart by stamping down on their angished cries for vengance. FYI the never ending blood fued is actually a strawman/rediculous (in accurate) argument.

    • @10animallover10
      @10animallover10 8 лет назад +4

      +The Dark master No I still don't agree. I agree with what Clarke once said and bring it into this picture again. Life is about more than just surviving. The only thing that was not well thought out was that the step might have been too big, slow steps should be undertaken to truely change on the long run.
      And yes, people die or sacrifice themselves for this visionary of 'blood must not have blood' but I still think on the long run, it will pay off. It's the greater good.
      I used hatred as one word in my first comment as an example. It's also about not giving in to vengeance, which is so hard but therefore I truely respect people who try to take this step, the more difficult step. People who spent their whole life seeking vengeace and finally obtain it.. They don't feel better, just empty.. (just like when Clarke killed that dude, forgot his name, by shooting through Lincolns shoulder. It did not make her feel better at all..)
      People that die for a huge cause like trying to inspire peace will be much more remembered than just another anonymous face killed in a vengeance spree.. (taking an example. Not religious or something but look at Jesus' story. Whether you're religious or not, believe the story or not, that's up to each individual. But the fact that many remember him for his sacrefice is an example. Yes he died but people STILL remember him even today)
      Now back the thing at hand, Lexa. There's a reason why so many fans were so hurt by episode 3x07 (apart from the way how/when it happened). Just the mere fact that it happened. Because Lexa did inspire many and many looked up to her and that is partly of what decisions she made throughout the series. Fans will never forget this oen because she was different, special, again, visionary. It's a total picture, all the layers of her character/her being. Not just the one layer that is attracted to Clarke.

      +10animallover10 but before you can LIVE and have lots of lesbian sex with clark, you need to survive FIRST! otherwize you'll just be a well wishing corpse. hence the whole "love is weakness." as rediculous as that is. there is a point to it. to not let your compassion obscure your judgement. (break)

    One of the worst mistakes Lexa ever made. Clearly her feeling for Clarke clouded her judgement. She should have marched in there with her army and taken Pike, Bellamy and the rest of the rest who helped slaughter 300 innocent people. After that she should have kept he distance from Clarke and Skaikru. We all know it’s most Clarke’s fault Lexa is dead.

      Penguin squad 51 - well she established blockade two days after, same as she was doing from the 1st day we met her in this show, so I see no difference here, and I guess all those times before, when she didn't attack, people like titus were freaking out(gustus s2, only he was sane enough not to kill her by mistake)and I think titus mixed feelings with duty, it became personal to him: keeping murphy prisoner behind lexa's back, all that about faith and skikru freaked him out, he arranged whole thing with semet before informing lexa about that situation, and he forgot to make sure that semet would be searched properly: cause no one enters Polis gates armed(only sentries: Commander's Royal Guard is armed), and titus let semet in, and in the end he killed her, and next ep(8)we saw: no war, people are not making riots, armys, army chiefs and leaders, clan leaders, ambassadors, everyone follow Commander's orders, even in next ep after they all know she is dead, they follow till new Commander ascendes, and ep before(6)we saw that even azgeda is loyal, now when Roan is their king, and titus overreacted with no real reason, but Lexa had to go, she was to big character for this show, and a.l.i.e. and s4 problems would've been a joke if Lexa was still alive as the Commander, or if they had any solid Commander to rule them all.

      elvis ibrahimović perfectly said. I completely forgot that titus arranged the meeting with semet too and the confliction between his duty and feelings.

    People say this is unrealistic and the downfall of Lexa, but this is a really smart decision. Kane said it himself, Lexa is a visionary and wants peace, if she had attacked Skaikru and killed all of them, that would have just been another unnecessary war. Grounders act as if war is the solution to all their problems, but it only creates more problems. Lexa couldn’t have known what Titus would do as a result of her actions, and that’s not her fault, or Clarke’s, they both just wanted to bring peace and end the cycle of violence. A wise man once said, “this isn’t a war! I fought in a bigger war that you will ever know, I did worse things that you can imagine, and when I close my eyes I hear more screams than anyone can ever be able to count!” Bless Peter Capaldi for that speech, because it’s true, the Doctor went through a war that almost ended with everyone dead, and he tried to do better. Lexa was trying to do better here too, and it was the best and worse thing she did. Best because it attempted to end the cycle of violence, and worst because it lead to even more violence and her death.
    Tldr; peace is always better than war because it’s the only way to end the cycle of violence

      this was by no means a smart decision it shows the other clans they can fight each other and not listen if skykru can break the rules why can't we at some point someone was going to take her out her people were not going to accept this sudden change of policy just because lexa had a change of heart at the very least take pike so she can show her people at least I got some justice

    • @JNB0723
      @JNB0723 Год назад

      @hafeezasif7932 it wasn't the smart move, but that's only because humanity is really stupid. However, she was right. They (and even us today) should strive to achieve the more difficult goal, and refuse to confuse justice with vengeance.

    Unpopular opinion, apparently
    Lexa is young and probably very fucking tired. The previous decisions she's made weight on her - we know that, it's literally an stated fact - of course if she had the excuse and motivation to not start a war she would take it. She knows that it is a risky move and she is willing to take it because she isn't alone in this, she trusts Clarke to keep tabs on her people (if Clarke does or not it's on her not on Lexa)
    Ultimately this humanizes Lexa so much, even if it is a mistake, she's just a young, very human girl trying to control this nation of war driven individuals, and she is willing to try and avoid a war, against all their rules.
    Saying this is just Clarke manipulating her is just plain ignoring Lexa's character and development and what a decision like this means for her as a grounder commander

  • @_lolo7423

    I agree with Titus so much, Clarke told them it was wrong for trying to wiped out Skaikru for a few of them did but she did wiped out The Mountain for a few of them did to her people, she was manipulating Lexa and used her feelings, this was not a smart decision in a war like this and she know that and no matter how she talked about peace she did whatever it takes to survive, Skaikru killed Lexa's 300 army who she sent there to protect them, who knows what else would they do if she didn't make a move and after she announced 'blood must not have blood' they still go for a village and try to attack them for food This is what got her killed, the alliance with Skaikru and love. And I never forgive Pike and Bellamy ,atleast Pike got what he deserves but i think Bellamy is not getting enough credit for all the things he done, He didn't made a mistake he know what he did, he never done anything good if it doesn't involes his sister life he was selfish and only cared about himself and his sister yet still he's one of the reason Lincoln died, he can't do anything without Clarke or Octavia by his side,he made a decision to used the hydrogenerator to save the people from Farm Station becuz of his grieve knowing half of his people may die becuz of that, he opened the bunker door for Octavia but we all know if Octavia was already inside in that bunker he wouldn't opened it,He don't want to kill Octavia knowing it would be all over but doesn't hesitate to kill Cooper, he used Madi when Clarke beg him over and over again not to becuz his family were in trouble but what he doesn't think is Madi was Clarke family too after that i hate it Clarke was the one who apologize again for leaving him when it should be the one who need apologizing, Yes everyone did something bad but what I'm saying is he's not as good as his fans think, he's one of a few people in the show who don't deserve redemption.... At least Clarke was saving her own people.

    Honestly sometimes Clarke put her people first on situations where it was a really dumb thing to do. I love clexa but this is manipulation. Even though I agree with the "no jus drein jus daun" thing, it's still bad and neither Clarke nor Lexa shouldn't have protected skaikru and Pike the bitch. It was a horrible thing to do and they deserved to be locked up (in my opinion). I love Clarke but shutting everyone out of the bunker in season 4 finale was just stupid, skaikru isn't superior.

    Ugh I hate this scene. Lexa is thinking with her heart. Clarke is just using her over again and again. Of course in that situation "blood must have blood". Pike and Bellamy and those soldier's killed 300 people while they were there to help them. Lexa just should've acted like a commander not like Clarke's lover. I honestly LOVE the idea of they in a relationship but all Lexa doing was babysitting Clarke and her damn platonic crush Bellamy.
