Mary of Habsburg | The Widow of Mohács

Firstly I wish you all Merry Christmas, I hope you'll spend your time well 🥰❤️
Secondly, Mary Habsburg is one of my favorite queens. I really love her historically, and then I watched the scenes of her in Carlos, rey emperedor (from Lili1127's channel, the subtitles are from there too), and in A Király halála (The King's death), also I read a trilogy (fiction) about her too.
I really love her, and she is so underrated!
She was born in 1505, she is daughter of Joanna of Castile and Philip of Habsburg.
She was Queen of Hungary and Czech between 1520 and 1526, then Regent of Hungary in 1527, and then Regent of the Netherlands.
She is called to The Widow of Mohács, because her husband died on the battle of Mohács. He fought against the turks, and he was promised help, but no one came. Mary and Louis II lived in a happy and lovely marriage. Louis was 20 years old, when he died. Mary never married again, and she mourned Louis for all her life.
