World's largest Navajo rug goes on display

After 40 years hidden in storage, the world's largest Navajo rug has gone on display in Winslow. Museum Director Lori Law shares its history.

As a hand spinner and weaver, seeing this rug in person was a very moving experience. It is absolutely beautiful, and the size of it is breathtaking. Truly a work of art.

Some people don’t understand how we indigenous people are connected with life, as a Navajo or Diné I can feel what she is feeling. Again my brothers and sisters keep fighting. 🪶✊🏾🪶✊🏾🪶✊🏾🪶
