This makes me wonder if their eventually going to release a Star Guardian Kayn with the base form starting off as a corrupted Star Gurdian, then you can choose to be a redeemed Star Guardian Shadow Assasin, or to be Star Nemesis Rhaast. Imagine the lore behind that skin.

I LOVE the lore implication of the W animation. Fiddle's default skin has him clutching his ribcage closed after finishing the channel on his W, but Riot recontextualized it into Fiddle using it's familiar as the source of power for the ability, and the clutching of the ribcage is to keep the familiar imprisoned. Seriously, whoever designed this skin needs a fucking raise, there's so much lore pouring out of this skin that it's unreal. I'm a Fiddle main, and it's literally the entire reason I even got into League of Legends, so I'm more than happy with this skin.
I main fiddle whenever I am incredibly bored enough to try and play, and this skin is INDEED phenomenal. Main reason I even pay attention to anything going on League wise is lore stuff
Over rating it. It's a simple brief turned into a skin, not as much hype as you are mking it out to be. The skin is good, but not how much you've hyped it.

Fiddle dancing in the star guardian trailer with Taliyah completely changed my image for this skin….
same, but in a good way. love how they're combining the cute and the horrifying and putting both in a single skin

That is legitimately one of the most awesome splash art that I have ever seen in a long while. The Star Nemesis / Dark Stars got one of the coolest arts around.

this splash art was made by a brazilian artist, it makes my heart melt every time i see people giving it compliments
Here's a list of what has been changed from the pre-release version (source: r/LeaguePBE):
- His in-game model has been adjusted to add more saturation in the mouth area, add more glow to the eyes and make his hands read more clearly
- The issue with the double familiar on Fiddlesticks death was fixed
- The size of his scythe has been increased
- Crowstorm (R) has been adjusted to be more chaotic and to lower the hierarchy of the inner stars for gameplay readability
- An issue was fixed that resulted in missing VFX on potential fear targets during his ult
- Bountiful Harvest (W) has been adjusted to get a stronger inward draining motion, as well as adding a new sound for the final tick
- The Star Guardian music that plays for the initial spawn was fixed

Ngl, this skin seems like a legendary. I didn't expect much when hearing they gonna gonna give him a sg skin but holy shit, this is amazing. The ultimate looks lit and the sound is scracthing my brain so good lmao
The sound of his ultimate is INCREDIBLE. I can‘t play fiddle but maybe i will buy this skin and learn him because this is just awesome. 9,5/10
You just need to control vision and throw good ultimates. Fiddle can win a game with a single good teamfight.

@@nekoyin8040 that’s one of the things he says. I don’t know if this skin changes any of his voice lines, but I’ve heard base fiddle say “darkness” a few times when ulting. Usually it’s just demonic screeching
The ult sound and the reverb and echo on his voice really sell this skin! Also, some of the chromas are really good!
I initially thought it was a shame they didn't do an ultimate for him, but honestly... He looks out of this world even on base model. They knocked this out of the heckin park.
Fiddlesticks doesn't need an ultimate. Ultimate skins are just legendary skins but with some small stuff sprinkled on top of them.

@@DR3ADNOUGHT He actually was lmao. Lore reveal just dropped on the updated SG website. Fiddle was once called "Harp" and was a member of the very first, original Star Guardian team. He was the very first guardian who ever fell to darkness, which turned him into the abomination Fiddlesticks. His transformation is also what caused Zoe to go mad with grief and rage, bc he used to be her friend.

Absolutely UNREAL skin! This DRIPS with Fiddlestick's lore and personality. It fits wonderfully into the Star Guardian's universe. I am amazed by their ideas sometimes and this is one of those times.

Yeah. He's like the big bad/most important villain of the star guardian skinline yet he did not get the legendary. It's just like Kayle's before where she has a major part of the Eclipse lore only to get an epic skin.

One oversight for me personally is the sound on the W. In a normal game of Fiddlesticks you use this ability hundreds of times. This skin gives it a very shrill sound that I worry will get relatively annoying after a while. I wish that sound could be toned down just slightly, putting it more in the range of his base skin or even surprise party. But to be very clear: I love absolutely everything about the skin and will be getting it regardless as a Fiddlesticks player.
As if normal Fiddle W isn't already annoying sounding
One year later: nah the W sound is great as ever. It’s not annoying at all.
I just realized his fear circle has squiggly lines. That's kinda cool
Love what they did on the ult, the vfx are way better now and match the sfx so well.
We need to buy this skin as much as possible even if it's not good so riot notices fiddle skins sells better than lux so they make more skins for him stonks.

I like that, when he dies, he frees his familiar showing that he is not a "Villain" but more of a Anti-Hero... but i don't know if the familiar disappearing is him dying...
I don't think he is freeing it. It looks more like the familiar is escaping as fast as it can after Fiddlesticks dies.

The better it's sales do the more likely it is we can get more fiddle skins. Great quality love the design but fiddle has so much wiggle room to work with hope we see more in the near future.

I feel like during the concept phase they thought about making hecarim a fully corrupted guardian since the familiar in the cage looks like a horse/unicorn and decided to give it to fiddlesticks keeping the horse familiar as leftovers.

It looks like a cyber punk designed twisted old deity, really interesting take, effects are a little lack luster, would've hoped for a 1820 to really make it come together, but this is good too
I feel like Fiddlesticks will be like Kyubey from Madoka magica.
Will be the one who guides people to become a guardian approaching them like a friend but in reality manipulating them for his own benefits which explains the chess splash art.
Another thing is we see Fiddlesticks showing itself to Taliyah drawing her attention and then we see them dancing together in the teaser.

Thinking about it, the entire PLOT of things like Tokyo Mew Mew, Pretty Cure, and Madoka Magica is to fight abominations made by the main villains. I don't know why I didn't think of Fiddlesticks, Skarner, etc being those enemy bosses.

Love the skin and fiddlesticks lore but like I feel for a skin like this they could have at least made some custom emotes like all the other champs especially since almost every fiddle skin is just a retexture/recolor and has no special vfx except a few he should at least get some special themed emotes like the suprise party gets it make the most sense since its coming out with all the star guardian ones otherwise love the look and graphics although its not as creepy as the name might imply
I don't know that he needs any animation changes, but I do think he should have been given a few new extra voicelines in there
