I think a part of this we are lacking to understand about this lifestyle is that a lot of individuals young or old choose this path because it brings a sense of meaning to their lives. Regardless of what consequences come w it.

You are 100% right I’m from 18st my self and it gave me meaning when I was younger i felt like a somebody in a world of nobody’s it gave me purpose but now my kids do the same you could say being a dad saved me
You can see the softness and innocence in his character. Sad he's repping a street he's never even seen! 18st is in Los Angeles wake up youngsters
Most underrated channel on youtube
Matt Grossman, u have the most overrated comments just like every other MF on this RUclips💲🏨❗️➕️. On a understanding level u don't understand the way an individual that had a tough rough childhood there's many types of different people in the world normal but too goody good, rich tight people, people that are homeless that chose that and you that has a loose mouth why don't you shut your trap. I appreciate the disrespect but I have to disrespect back but anyway much props to a Down Dieciochero. People need to understand to not get in our way. We don't mess with you unless u judge or call the police for no reason just cause how we look. Much respect to the old school elderly people and good hearted people. As for being part of most Dangerous Gang Organization in the world I'm proud. don't let anybody talk u down Pandilleros. Be safe in Paso or anywhere else in this so called freedom country.
There’s almost a spiritual quality to this young man’s admiration for his “hood” and gang. I would describe it as fanaticism akin to religious fanaticism. It gives his life meaning it seems.
I'd say romanticism. Same as when American teenagers were sent too WW1. The gov romanticized war as a coming of age experience which was totally wrong and detrimental.
Well yeah foo u see the 666 on his hoodie
@@ESMODESTO even without the Mark of the Beast on his hoody his words express that sentiment alone.
By the way how’s Mejeeko?
It’s glorified. But really it’s a life of violence abusing people and rape

Good interview, sad though because we all know how this will end for this young man unless something miraculous happens, I pray this guy makes it out.
💯
He won’t get out he’s to flashy the flashy young dumb ones end up dead or in prison
Here is the thing about gang life. Lots of young boys from 15-30 yrs. old. They don't think right and all they are thinking about is party, doing drugs, selling drugs, and women. But once you hit 35yrs and up. You think different. You kind of think back while you do all that shit and wish you haven't done it. This is the 21 Century. gang life is not the way to go. If you have a chance now, educate yourself and go out there and get a good job. PEACE OUT!!!

Foreal dude I’m 25 and barley realizing how I’ve wasted my life. Ima go back to school and want a career. These kids gang banging, do they not like money or success?Lol like wouldn’t you wanna help your mom out over a gang that has you like a pawn
@@helco2856 Truth
Well said!
You can fuck bitches, party & enjoy life in your 20s without being in a gang tho. Idk why dumbass choose to live a short lived suicidal existence. You gonna either become a dropout deadbeat, in prison or dead.

love the videos bro. My question is why are these videos really short? You should make them longer
This guy shows that he understands, commitment, dedication, sacrifice, pride, strength, no fear. All of them are good qualities. Unfortunately for the wrong reason. This is the type of guy that if the right people would have come along and stood by him he would have gone far and would have been a good example of leadership.
That's the saddest shit. You gotta give kids a sense of belonging at 12. Or else u lose em to the streets.
I blame their environment, society failed them
Everyone says "no fear" until actual fear is staring you in the face.
Hey Frank, love these videos bro, but why cant you make the content longer bro I always want more so I watch the over n over. Just wish the were much longer. Much love and respect 4 what you do my boi..
This is sad… wasting his life away and headed straight to state prison.

Alot of the shots were taken in front of and in back of my old house in stanton street. I'm güero but came up around guys like this. Dangerous, but they are fierce friends. I'm 40 + now. If I put out a call, they're still there for me. No joke.

What year did 18st begin in El Paso? Where they given the green light by the big dogs in LA to start a click in El Paso?
Are they Sureños ?
I doubt it.
I don't think there's 18st in El paso
People don't even speak English in El paso
Yea there where
Dam lil homie look like he came back from 1998
That's why I don't join a gang cuz at first they all cool with you and stuff but later on life they can betray u or kill in jail or in the streets this is not a game this is reality so people think twice before getting jumped into a gang of ur choice cuz u never know what could go wrong so it's better to stay positive leave the negative aside and we can do way better in Life.
💯
Facts homie when I was young I joined a gang I’m 32 now and now my homies from the hood are my enemies life’s a trip carnal.
The moment u know the gang means nothing is the moment your by yourself in a cell they don’t visit u or write you or send u money there’s no loyalty in tht life it’s everyone for themselves
Que Viva Mi Raza!!! Nuestra Juventud necesita mejores role models. I grew up gang banging but as I got older I started to realize that the only people that'll be there for you is Family because even your closest homies will betray you for a few dollars or a pair of legs. A few of my homies passed away, some on the run and some locked away. I'm blessed to still be alive.
It's just life, can't pretend to control anything. But start with yourself, you are born complete, fine tune and better, not worse. Come home everyday, without a pig, following.
These need to be longer but they 🔥🔥💯💯
He says he thinks about his mom and trying to make better decisions. Then he literally says in the next sentence that he would die for his hood. Contradiction, go back-to-school youngster
These kids aren't the brightest clearly. If they were they wouldn't have joined a street gang in the first place
it’s the angel and the devil on your shoulders playing tug of war with your mind, you wouldn’t understand if you never been in that lifestyle
U are really ignorant jbrown ... U will never understand dumbass
Dice apertamente che fa parte di una gang , il ragazzo è troppo vanitoso
this reminds me of the DJ Quik song " just lyke Compton "
There’s 18st in El Paso now .. big gang in 80’s and 90’s was Fatherless 13 … from Las Cruces and always warred with them in Juarez

Good to see other streeters from different states. much love vago from Inglewood
My wife is from a barrio type spot in the dominican rep.. and we always have the disagreement which is these young kids are making a choice and some are and just knuckleheads but, a lot have no guidence and no parents in their life. The lifestyle becomes a survival mechanism. You are a product of your environment and unfortunately thats what it provides and produces.
Really appreciate your work Frank. Keep on keepin' on.

Send that foo to El Salvador 🇸🇻 the president looking for him over there 😂
18 st is not a salvador gang dummy, its mexican gang with slavadorian, hondurian, guatemalen members ,but yeah he needs to grow up thats gang shit os not worth it
Not a deal with the hood it's with the devil young man... And once you hit the prison system that street shit goes to the wayside... Damn being you and feeling indestructible but we all get got... And answer to someone... I wish u the best

Everyone thinks there gangster still there in prison they realize maybe I'm not
I liked that music in the background. Was waiting till a drumbeat kick in, but never did. Lol. Still dope though
I have a good story too I wish I could tell it or write a book about it
gang banging still exist in El chuco?😂 that shit is old af Este vato talking about peewees but he ain't no different. gang banging ain't cool no more tf alot of chavalas out here shooting and stabbing noone throws the fade no more in El chuco. que verguenza back then you could hold your chin up high if you got locked up repping the 915 porque you had cora. today that shit don't exist.
Where is 18st. barrio at en el paso. What part of town?
Homie once u start working all that mentality will change trust me I’m still a gangmember but I move way differently than before. When ur young u don’t got nothing to lose so u don’t give a fuck but once u got a good job a wife and family your view of life is different u start to live
That's true homie I am a gangster to wants yo get a wife or kids yo don't forget about the gang but you put it as like a hobby
Been gangbanging since a kid but once I had my daughter I gave up on all that bullshit
After so much time, there’s still so much energy being wasted in these lost causes. Youngins always gotta think “wtf is the end game”. I can’t blame them though cuz I’ve been there. Sometimes, for whatever reason it may be, we subconsciously don’t wanna live long.
Yo that last part hit hard
Not just that but sometimes we dont get a choice. Its made for us😔
What you're explaining sounds like a lost cause. Smh
I grew up in the streets of Albuquerque tho I'm white I was accepted by the culture because of how I grew up. I never gang banged but knew people who did and had friends with people who lost their life to it and within the world of drugs that its delt with. I've been into street photography lately showing raw side of burque. Do you have any insight you could give to an inspiring artist?
ALWAYS BE YOURSELF DON'T BE SOMEBODY OR SOMETHING YOUR NOT RESPECT YOUR OG'$ AND ALWAYS STAY GRATEFUL AND HUMBLE WITH AND ALWAYS HAVE RESPECT AND LOYALTY THATS THAT COMES WITH RULES FOR THE STREETS AND GANGS AND EVERYTHING ELSE THAT COMES WITH IT WHAT IM SAYING THINK BEFORE YOU REACT THERE'S IS AND ALWAYS WILL BE CONSEQUENCES WITCH INVOLVES REPERCUSSIONS MOVE SMART MAKE SURE YOUR ALWAYS A STEP AHEAD.DONT FORGET WHO WAS THERE WHEN NO ONE WAS AND MAKE SURE YOUR GANG AND FAMILY ARE ALWAYS GOOD #WESTUPSIICKOUT #REALRECOGNIZESREAL
When you get in a cell with someone bigger and bad ass then you on lock down.. you start to think twice..

STRANGER ES LA 18ST
18 street in El Paso? Where!!
Great channel with these interviews. Unfortunately without offending anyone, chasing this dream is pointless cause we're all replaceable. At the end when its all said and done it doesn't really matter. I've seen people throwing their life away chasing this illusion. Some do snap out if it ranging in their late 20's up to their 40's. When you want to leave this life, they'll come for you. So were they even your friends after all? I hope this young teenager finds a different route to take instead of this one.
