I agree. It's always fun to see the unfiltered thoughts of guys like Dorsey, who have the seat time and experience to tell us what REALLY happened. I got to hang out with Dorsey after Petit a few years ago - I learned more about driving over a few beers and a campfire then I have in any track day.

The USCS Prototype class that has both P2 and DP cars is very reminiscent of the Can-Am & GT1 class during 1998 United States Road Racing Series how both those cars were strong enough to run up front.

It's to bad that ALMS lost this formula to produce a great race and race series like this. If they want the United Sportscar Seris to be popular and successful they need to look back at this era.

USCR, too me, is a let down. the P1 cars are going bye-bye, and the P2's are merdging with the Grand-am DT's. All the factory GT classes are remaining, but GTC is folding into Grand-am GT class. I really don't like this... BUT! There's a rumor that IndyCar is somehow going to get involved. That would be awesome.
