Have to say that thanks to you a month ago I got KI and now it's one of my favorite fighters. Ranked is pretty alive too, going up through the ranks has been a pretty experience, still kind of suck but managed to reach gold. I really recommend trying it, I think it's one of the friendliest games for begginers around, not very technical and it doesn't really have many systems you have to learn to start playing with people. Really recommend it.
Ive had KI for like the longest time and never put in the time to really try it out. Ive decided to give it another try now but I find that it is hard to find tech and stuff for characters, or maybe I just don’t know where to look. Do you have any sort of guide or something you followed to help you get better at understanding the game?

It's rare to see a good Fulgore like Max. Fulgore as a whole is kind of stiff and has too much personal maintenance to look out for (pips and regeneration rate).
Oddly today I keep fighting Fulgores and Jagos. Saberwulf is just fun to play as. I’ve been playing as Sadira all day and think I’ve only seen one Saberwulf.
Is Eyedol's gimmick switching between a zoner and a rushdown? I like how every character has a gimmick, but I can't wrap my head around this game. Still great to watch, though.

He just intimidated Max and had him on defense. He used several unsafe DPs at the end of some normals in fighter mode and took advantage of max crouch blocking by hitting him with the overhead meteor to low while in mage mode. Overall, they played extremely risky and didn't see any reason to stop seeing they weren't being punished for it

Damn... Eyedol was tough in the original KI because he was deceptively quick, hard hitting with the combos, and of course, super cheap. This Eyedol is just flat out OP'd.

It's ok Max, I'm Silver, barely, and I got matched against ITA-MASTERS, or whatever, the top 3 killer with 30 stars lol... Oh yeah! I also got matched against Bass when I was Bronze almost turning to Silver. I think I've fought against Golds and Killers as much as all of the other ranks. This game can be pretty terrible to newcomers doing ranked.

KI has a lot of hard to explain defensive options. The combos are like, the easiest part.
