    Great video. The finished product looks pretty damn cool. Would you be willing to do a video on how to do the injection method? I've just recently gotten into tackle crafting and have been curious about how to do it.

    I like how you explained the process and explained it very thoroughly. What kind of plastic do you normally use and how did you to the belly of the gold frog?

    • @theeverydayfisherman3905
      @theeverydayfisherman3905  7 лет назад

      Mad Painter its all just plastisol. The bellies usually get a floating additive as well.

    just a suggestion, have you tried using disposable syringes when pouring your cores?
    here are benefits as i see:
    -it might help you to do a batch faster (if you use the right size syringe you could drag 5 lines in one fill)
    -using steady pressure it should help combat against those drips you didn't like.
    -also using a syringe might help when you getting ready to pour a mix and when a hot mixture needs to cool a little quicker as the plastic walls will take energy from the mix to heat up, helping you save a little more time.
    cons i can think of - added expense but reusable for quite a few times...
    just thought if you haven't tried it might help, if your giving it a try post a vid ;)
    no doubt he's already tried and it don't work.... then.... then..... i will look a fool haha
    great lures man keep posting i love a good pour mate :)
    tight lines ;)

      I have tried a syringe!LOL the problem is it clogs up before you have a chance to do much with it. The plastic hardens in the tube too quickly.

    Hello, how are you? I'm Brazilian and would like to know if you can tell me where I can buy these forms and what material you used for the baits? Was it silicone? Thank you very much for your attention.

    • @theeverydayfisherman3905
      @theeverydayfisherman3905  6 лет назад

      Cleiton Bauer these specific molds are the Caney Creek Croaker. You can get them now from Do-it Molds. Do-It also sell liquid plastic but I've never used theirs before. My plastic, I bought from Bait Junkys. It is manufactured by Calhoun.
