- Join along as we keep pushing through the night and into the next day as rain is set to arrive in the afternoon and we have alot of acres left to do. With some shuffling around and supplies we get closer to the end. Only to have rain say no more. Appreciate Isaah and Aaron on helping with rhe roadway expansion. Thanks for watching along
They finally delivered that package to your P.O. Box. I know some of the items may seem "strange" but thought you might get use of them and helped fill the box up. The broken toy still had a good Mack Truck(orange). Thought would send for spare parts. Throw away anything you don't want. Sorry it arrived so late, but was waiting for replacement of the squashed one. Biggest thing was to get the replacement Mack Tanker, and John Deere toy for your birthday. Then dog pillow thing to help Yenko ride in the tractor since you mentioned you didn't like the current thing he lays on.

Chris, look up Pequea Planter, Gap, Pennsylvania. They're amish and have a very good replacement parts catalog and sell every part a JD 7000 has on it, a lot of things fabricated by them as a cheaper but heavier option, a lot of updated parts, i know for sure they have updated lift cylinders to replace what you have on your wings. I believe they actually do have a online download now of their the parts book. Good luck.
Chris, upstate New York has some great people in the AG sector. You’ve hit some good buddies around you and the crew chief coming in hot with a culvert addition.
The only downside to Upstate NY is all the bureaucratic red tape and political bs.

Normally you put the strainer on the inlet side of the pump to protect the pump.

Chris, fwiw...those black plastic tops on your 8 unit clear sprayer manifold are known to crack very easily and with hairline (hard to see)cracks. If you can, try to keep a few spares on board for such a problem. Saw it on Cates farming in Indiana YT channel. Good job getting al you could done man. Your friends are gold brother, you're a lucky man to have them in your life.
I use a bottle brush and a bottle of water to clean filters also a lot of self priming pumps shut off when liquid isn’t flowing (shut off)
Them saddle tanks probably had some junk in them but you will always get some of that from the liquid starter if its not mixed well or sitting a long time

You need a check valve before the pump. It’ll help with priming.

Through the night with only side markers on the planter to go by, who needs remote control steering. You needed to get done planting and ya did.
