I watched this video having absolutely 0 experience with hair extensions. I was at my wits end with my thinning hair and just blindly searched “hair extensions for thin hair” on RUclips, and this was the video that came up. On a whim, I thought why not and decided to purchase them.
I cannot reiterate how a.) easy they were to put in (most important to me) b.) how natural they look (I got 12 inches so it just gave a little length but a ton more body!) and c.) how PRETTY they are.

I’m soooo glad I came across you video,I’ve been struggling always had long healthy hair,became severely anemic and also over 1 year thinking from my disorder or whatever my hair was falling out ,long story short my BF. Got me a straightener for x mas and it was damaging my hair,I used on high heat,so now my hair breaks off in tint pieces not just strands,I got mine in 18” in also and I Love them!! Thank you again life saver .my whole mood and depressing crying in the shower and all the product I buy to help my hair grow ,this is the most self confidence I’ve had in a long time!! They look incredible! And the color match is unreal! I used to wear clip ins before I was married because I had thin hair and I loved how convenient they were! Although when Tim came to visit me once he saw them hanging in my closet and still makes fun of me for that 😆

That blends really well! You look great.
That is a perfect match for you!! One thing that can help the underneath hairs from showing is braiding the bottom section of hair below the first track, and bobby pinning it over to one side. Then put the first track on top of that braided section:) it still looks great either way! Just a little tip that has helped me.

Great review! I’ve used extensions from amazon for years now from clip in to Halos now. I’ve always been able to match my color. You have to know what your end of the hair like your tip color truely looks in natural light. That’s the part to worry what matches and if you get that right you are gold! I’ve had all different hair colors from heavily lightened primarily blond to dark dark brown and all shades in between. Know what tones are in your hair, ash, gold, Red etc that will help tremendously in success of getting the correct color.

I honestly prefer halo you see I have fine and thin hair like what feels like 2 thin strands left due to the fact that I suffer PCOS as well so I am now looking to get either a topper wig or a halo extension clip in can strain your head and hurt but caus more drops

I use Full Shine Extensions. Love them! Are use the tape in and I also use the clip Ins. I have noticed my clip ends stays more soft and shiny than the tape ins. I am guessing it’s because I sleep in them and they get shampooed at least three times a week.
I can’t believe how much they match your hair color. I like the loose curls you added and especially the ponytail. Cannot see the clips at all!

YES!! I LOVE Irresistible me hair extensions! Idk why no one else uses them!! I have had mine for literally years and they are still great!! I got the silky touch ones I believe and yes they do taper off but I think it makes them appear more natural. I also have very fine hair as well. They do have a more luxurious set that have the same thickness from top to bottom but for my hair type they would not look natural as my real hair as I mentioned is quite thin. Also, I received so many compliments on them and ppl did not believe that they were not my hair. Sorry so long of a comment but I have heard of some ppl getting a "bad" set so maybe that happened to you with the ones you had. Who knows. But I absolutely love them...and no, I have no affliction with them...just love them so much. ❤
I have to agree. The quality of their extensions is great. I’ve had mine for years and they held up VERY well. I did love them and like you said, they had a much natural blend. I think it depends what you’re looking for. But the quality was definitely there.

I have hair like yours and had the same thing happen with keratin bind, had several sets and was such a pain- and did wreck my hair. The last few years I’ve gone to “secret veil” method... THE BEST!! Give it a shot!

I never thought of hair extensions as a realistic option for me until I found your videos. You inspired me to try Full Shine extensions (I bought the seamless clip ins,) and OMG!!! How did they turn out on you? I’m debating on putting nano tops or micro tips on the sides where I’ve had some breakage.

How long can tape extensions be on hair, can it be used again several times on the hair, will it hold on the hair without falling off, does it feels like our own hair and can it make hair worn?
You can still do a high pony with clip ins. There's a few good videos here on RUclips with great tutorials. I love those extensions on you. You look great! 💓

Do you like clip in or the keratin bond the best? I have hair similar to yours. I already have clip in, but love to pull my hair up and the clips tend to hurt.

Thank you for this, I just bought Clip ins for the same reason- to let my hair rest in between actual extensions. I might suggest sown in extensions instead of keratin bonded next time? I’ve had both and sown in are healthier for your hair and mine NEVER shed- my keratin bonds did shed like crazy and ruined my hair
: ( They’re really expanding the sown in market now and they’re really beautiful and natural now. Just my opinion on them.

These extensions look SO GOOD on you! I also have extremely fine, thin hair, plus I'm 51 so age definitely is a factor when considering extensions. I've had my i-tip (?) ext. in for about a year and a half, and I'm in LOVE with my hair now! Makes me feel so much more confident - except the front/top of my head is still THIN and I'm not too sure how I can cover that up...any suggestions?
Glue ins? I had the flat tip ones and have an Appt in January to get them done again. They feel so much like your own hair. And I wish I had a remedy for thinner hair on top. Usually I’ll use products to help with that such as dry shampoo and some texture spray and some gentle teasing.

Question!! I have never used extensions and I am looking to buy some like these... so after they are on, can you brush your hair or will it mess up the clips??
Iliana Orellana hey, yes you can brush your hair, such as the hair that’s over the clips and the ends of your hair/extensions. You just can’t brush through your hair because your brush will get caught in the clips.

When you retaped them to move them up after 6 weeks, what tape did you use and did some of them fall out after the first wash?
For these extensions? These are clip ins, so you take them out at the end of the day and clip them in whenever you want :)

I just try them on. I think it’s the same as trying on clothing items. So long as you don’t color them, wash them, wear them out and about….
I've had keratin extensions for 4 years and I love them but its SO expensive (I'm in Chicago :( ). I reallyyyy appreciate your videos cause my hair is just like yours! I just bought my own remover from your other video so I can do it myself during Quarantine. I am probably going to try these out too cause they look so good on you!!
I still use these extensions from time to time when I want volume or length. I hope they kept the quality, bc I genuinely like these extensions. And I miss my keratin bond extensions sometimes 😭 but it was def such a pain to remove.
I haven't had any luck with any curling irons. My hair is also thin and can't seem to find a curling iron that gives me nice loose curls. Maybe because my hair is thin?? Which one do you use?
I just use the hot tools 1.5” curling iron. Had it for years now.
I buy them from irresistible me. You can get the extensions in about 3 different weight. You can buy the ones that are equal from top to bottom. I have never bought the thin ones. I like the medium weight. But I have bought the thickest before as well.

How do you dye your hair blond and it still look so voluptuous I want to but I am afraid all my hair will come out
My hair is fine and thin so its naturally flat also, esp if I air dry it. Dry shampoo/texture sprays help get some volume. And my hair is naturally dirty blonde. So I'll usually do highlights to lighten it up some more, it also grows out better that way (not as noticeable:) ... My hair girl also uses olaplaex, which def helps. But I will say that highlights do dry out my hair more vs just doing all over color (non bleach). If you go to someone who's very knowledgable, they might do a few appts to get the look you want, depending on your start color.

I still have them and have curled them many times and they’re in great condition. Someone mentioned they bought a few sets and the quality wasn’t there so idk if they changed the quality but mine are still pretty good.
I tease mine , spritz with a tiny bit of (natural look ) hairspray ( one that brushes out easy) then sometimes I Bobby pin on top of the clips . My hair is so fine that’s the only was clip ins stay in mine lol . I wear half wigs in my crown now to avoid all my tracks showing ! Ahhh us thin hair girls .. it’s not fair . Your hair is thicker then mine though and u done a great job they look lovely and natural xx
Denise Penelope I don’t think I’ve ever heard of half wigs? But yes, the struggle of having naturally thin hair 😩but that’s ok, we have extensions ☺️

With Fushion extensions or “K-tip” cutting the bonds in half might be the reason they shedded a lot. I had the same issue with mine and realized they were cut a bit too short.

Hey, no I don’t. I take them out. They’re temporary since they are clip-ins :) just a great way to change up your look without it being a permanent option.

I loved your video! I recommend you make a mini ponytail or bun or french braid on the bottom piece of your hair where you put the first weft. That way you can’t see your short hair underneath the first weft from the front.
I hope I explained that well enough, English is not my first language but anyways, this tip changed the game for me completely.

How do you get it to not hurt when you wear them? I feel like mine constantly hurt
They do get either itchy or uncomfortable after wearing them for some time. I usually don't wear mine all day and TBH, I do look forward to taking them off. No remedy, just something that comes with clip ins :/
I have fine thin hair that needs to be washed daily for more texture otherwise the strands separate the next day if unwashed. Im new to extensions and would like your opinion on what i should get. I've seen a lot of the irresistible me hair extensions however the invisible silicon extensions look very thin plus its expensive. What are your recommendations?
I know what you mean by next day hair separation. Fresh hair truly does look best on fine, thin hair. I’m not sure what invisible silicone extensions are? But I do like the seamless PU weft. I just did a video sharing about those.
I personally like to buy clip ins from Amazon bc the price is so great and since you’re not washing the clip ins as often as you wash your natural hair, they tend to last longer.

Do you have to curl them in order to wear them out? Or can you wear them without heat?
You can wear it straight. It’s easier for me to blend them when they’re curled

courtney Linn yes, definitely. They can get a little uncomfortable at times, esp if you have a sensitive scalp but it’s something you get used to. I’ve worn mine so many times already and they’re still in good condition. Not ratty. Just buy a special brush with wider teeth to brush it out.

Hey, I use them several times a week and take them out by the end of the day. I don’t wear them everyday, only when I want more volume. They have held up really well. I haven’t washed them yet and haven’t had them for that long but I love the volume these add to my hair. If you choose a color that has prime free returns then you’ll be able to return them if you’re not completely happy :)

I usually only wear them for half the day. You have to take them out at the end of the day.

I’d say look into IBE extensions or hand tied sew in extensions.
They’re pricey but pretty seamless.

It seems you have to have the same texture hair . Mine is dryer so I’m afraid it would look worse. You look great with them because you do have thinner hair. Some woman it doesn’t make a difference.

For thin hair it isn't really easy to find some extensions there look good and natural 😂 yesterday i got some flip in extensions from amazon. I cut them a little bit, because there was to big and bulki. Today it looks very good and natural. Just more volume. Extensions are great 😂
