Hi, my Legacy Support is disable, I click to enable, then to confirm in the blue rectangle to yes, my arrow os not moving to the left, neither to the right. What should I do ?
My power button worked the last time I used my HP Envy 13-ab077cl notebook laptop. The orange battery charge light which become white when fully charged is working. How can I determine if the power button is working correctly or not? I have removed the bottom cover to access the internals of the laptop. I have a multimeter.

i dont have a usb and when a press an f key it beeps and nothing changes and when i hit enter it just shuts off

My computer is messed up. The guy from windows support is telling me to do this but with worse instructions. My computer is telling me that I’m order to boot from the sub I have to uninstall windows first?

After the last step when I enter the code and click enter, it’s shows a blinking underscore...

which code do you mean? is your bios has any security code~?
@@thepcphone no I mean that after following the final step that you did. (By entering the 4 digit code + enter ) , my laptop does not reboot. Whereas it shows an underscore sign on the top left
@@Jesus-ym3jt would you be able to try from an external keyboard in case if there is any keyboard faulty? never know just give it a try just to make sure!

You need software for that, but I would recommend you a clean installation

No no hp envy sleekbook 6 to boot from USB i swear i had to disable legacy boot also before it wanted to boot from USB i tried to install Windows 8 2 days now and finally i found out both Secure boot and legacy boot had to be disabled
Thanks for your comment. I believe you wanted to say, the secure boot and UEFI boot need to be disabled. in most of the bios when you turn off the secure boot it automatically turns off the UEFI.
so it's like this below
disable secure boot
disable UEFI boot
enable legacy boot.
then F9 to boot menu and that's it.

There is only 3/4 items on boot order...
