Completely agree. Its people who can't get past the fact it's not at all technical. Black Witchery (especially live) is pure mood and energy. In fact, I rate them the #1 live band of all bands I've seen. Black Witchery's sound was meant to be heard live, it's something they never fully captured on their recordings (and I really wish their recordings had reverbed vocals like what I heard live, it would help the sound IMO). They capture the concept of darkness in a way most BM bands don't, and there's a type of savagery thay have, that the most "brootal" of death metal bands don't. Hearing this live with the imagery of a candle-lit stage, hooded members, baphomet/pentagram, plus the reverbed vocals which I had never heard with them until then, it made black witchery 10 times better than what I had expected.
