  • Now that it's getting colder & winter is on it's way, it's the perfect time to curl up under a blanket, maybe with a hot drink and by a crackling fireplace, and read a good book. Here are some books that I think are perfect to read on those cold winter days.

I personally love the longer videos. With how positive you are it is great to listen you talk about books you love for whatever reason.
Also that Wolf Brother book sounds interesting. I haven't read anything set in the prehistoric era that isn't a textbook.
I also haven't read Narnia since I was a kid. I keep looking at the audiobook in my library because each book is narrated by someone different. Including Sir Patrick Stewart and Kenneth Branagh.

      Thank you so much!! 😊
It is a really good middle-grade series! I really love the dynamics between the different characters, and the setting makes survival such an integral part of the story.
That sounds really cool! I don't really listen to audiobooks because I have a number of podcasts that take up my listening time, but that's really tempting. Plus, it's always fun to revisit an old favorite. 😊

I have The Bartimaeus series and need to read it!
Great recommendations! I added The Angel of the Crows to my list. The Goblin Emperor is already on my list. 🤗
I look forward to part two! Thanks!

Wow the Amulet of Samarkand unlocked a core memory of my cousin recommending me books when I was really young I should go back and reread it! Black Butler really has me curious might pick up vol 1 next time I buy manga. 🥧

You should! I've reread it several times, and it still really stands out for my as an adult. And Black Butler is just so addictive. It can be a little cringey at times, but I love the characters and the plot so much. 😊🥧

It's SO GOOD. Maia is one of my favorite characters! (Everyone should read Katherine Addison's books; they're so good, haha!) 😊
