I am so grateful. I have been watching many "in the mind of a pro" videos recently, very glad I had the search history and viewing pattern to that got the algorithm to recommend the first "in the mind of a pro" to me. Searched "in the mind of a pro age of empires 2" found you and now I feel like I can enjoy video games without the worry I used to have. Now I feel like I am learning when I play/watch video games and that I can add value to my life and my education (currently almost done with my bachelor's in a rigorous field, attending the avant grade of physics workshops where I felt people hiding secrets... I'm used to it... so I keep bringing my A-game, reading and listening to the best (listening and reading and writing and being as perceptive as possible) so that when I meet other people I can offer great knowledge and they don't feel like I am shortchanging them for their own hard work. Thank you Hera for explaining Age of Empires to us. My older brothers taught me how to play but we just did it for fun, they don't play anymore but it's an important part of my safe feeling. I am learning and very grateful for you. Sorry my message is so long and emotive, I just have been through a whole bunch and like to say thanks when I mean it.

i wouldn't mind if you pick a civ that has the most benefits to you, it is very satisfying if you win such a 1vs4.
so close, that last armor upgrade could have save the game. also you have many resources in the end, could have spend them on siege push gray.

While I think you negotiated a pretty fair deal we need some dubs up in here too. Next time the average TF elo is ~1200, which seems to be a common-ish average for these, you need at least 250 if not 300 pop.

Maybe try byzantines for this challange and you can bith RAID and have tough and easy to defend base.

I always found it wierd when people have to play the map instantly after seeing their civs. And especially here, when you have to consider the composition of the enemy team. Would it make sense to start these matches with a short break/delay, so that you can take a second to think?
ethiopians have only wood costing outposts i wonder if in the castle age when u are flowing little bit extra wood you should make few outpost? anyways gg wp! nice build order. i always wonder if heavy plow is worth getting for like 10-20seconds of idle, or is it just better go with 1-2 pop later up, depends on the civ tho?
Near the end your resources started piling up. Wouldn't it be possible for you to temporarily retreat and turtle for Torsion Engines Siege Onagers to wipe the masses of units?
Maybe late game you could have won with Torsion Engines to kill the skirms

Could make for an interesting video if you do something similar but instead of more pop you get 5% or 10% handicap per player (yes I know there's a 200% handicap vid but that's different :)
34 minutes video gave the hint that what would be the result. Defeating 4 takes longer.

maybe it would be better to have hera teamed up with a low 1000 elo team player that can support him slightly against 4. sometimes, although hera has a better eco he hit a production limit. a support player that cannot micro like him would be beneficial
I'm orange on all team games. I get wipe out, escape with a villager to boom in-between my allies. 😂
Hera says booming players are the big threat in team games. Yeah he's the biggest threat to his own team. Too busy playing sim city and game ends before they make anything of value. At least that's been my experience in a lot of team games. Totally not bitter, nope...not me...
Great game though Hera, shame you could not finish off orange. Maybe if you had you could eke out a win. Imperial Skirmishers team bonus also hurts. I think if you had your pop bonus and eco behind that would mean maybe getting torsion engines for example and the win.,

Why no extra pop?
Against 3 players, you can win without extra pop. But against 4, it's impossible.
Please keep not picking the best civ but a one for an entertaining game
How come you didn't significantly damage both yellow and orange and then straight away swap your attention to the other two? Spending the extra few minutes trying to defeat them seemed to allow the other two a lot longer to boom.

When Yellow was defeated he really should have left the game. "Kill the lagger" only works when the lagger leaves the lobby when they die.
