Clear influence from a lot of modern bands, first that comes to mind is Twenty One Pilots. Beautiful, new experimental sound, every album from you surprises me in the best ways. Great job guys!

As a band they've always been very good at adapting their sound and style to not only fit new emotions and sounds they're going for but also the current trends in music. This is proven by this specific song which again, sounds much different from most of their stuff, and clearly has a 21P influence. I would argue their music probably has not been affected by Switchfoot much if at all, since in the past their sounds have been completely different.

I've been really feeling disconnected with Switchfoot since Fading West. It was genuinely odd when my favorite band put out 2 albums in a row I didn't like. But it seems like you're doing something musically to build off of the sound from those albums but still appeal to people like me. 2 songs I really like so far. Excited for the album, and excited to enjoy Switchfoot again.
Can't get enough of this song & video.... each time I watch the video I see something I didn't notice before... 8) There's a lot of relate-able lines in it I can connect to in my own way... they have a gift this way, with making music that's real and honest and on a level we can all relate too! Keep the music coming, guys!!!
The message reminds me of Adding to the Noise. I just love the vulnerability of the video because you can tell it’s something that Jon does really struggle with. He writes from his soul; he is a true poet. It was a little disturbing, but I think that’s the point - for us to be disturbed enough to be awakened to the voices in our own heads that are negative influences.
Native tongue is an amazing song, it's classic switchfoot mixed with thier modern tone. I absloutely love it, chads drum beat is just AWESOME in that song, Jons singing is on point as always and in the 2nd verse, Tim is a madman on the bass. It's just a fun and really amazing sounding switchfoot song. Native tongue is a perfect 10 out of 10 for me. Voices is really amazing, and the video is really good, and holy smokes I can relate to this song. The video just makes the song sooooo much better. But I still like native tongue better, I can't help it.
