Man, I gotta admit. I kind of rolled my eyes with your OCD comment about the damn labels lining up! Then l got anxious when seeing the state of your garage. My OCD would never notice 'label alignment', but it sure notices the way I keep my small workshop and my music studio.
Good video, could use a little more light. Just FYI, the shop manual says 44ft. Lb. for those bolts on the upper front motor mount. I think I would start a little lower and see how it felt. Just my opinion.
I put mine in, didnt have any issues but i didn't use a torque wrench. I just tightened them down with a grunt or 2. Didnt want to wrench too hard, i was scared i would strip the threads..... Installed a 4 strap tank bag as well, i think i may need to put some protection on my tank to keep scratches down. Any ideas?? Thanks for the vid!
I have the same brand & they had the set w/ yellow on them, came with the spools also. The all black looks nice and the decal came off easy. I was surprised to see you adding a MOD, I thought you were going to trade in..?? My 2021 RS is the same color. It's hard to crave a bit more power but, they are great looking and so easy to access everything. Keep it, you are getting older :O Keep up the videos
Not trading it in yet. I really do like the bike. Have some Puig adjustable footpegs on order, hope to get them soon. There isn't anything out there really calling to me, other than maybe a Streetfighter V2, or the new GSX-S1000GT... And for some weird reason, the Harley Pan American looks interesting.
@@savedzrex1 Weather house arrest? lol. Dude, I grew up in Buffalo, and then northwest NJ near the ski resorts. I have been out driving around in the snow just out of boredom today. I was a bit disappointed because there wasn't much of a challenge anywhere to be had, if I am honest. But I ran the GoPro, so I will upload it shortly... haha
@@SquireSCA I have a tundra, only 2 wheel drive, I would imagine at least one of your trucks, if not both are 4 wheel drive. When I pulled the top engine bolt the engine moved enough to where I can't get the bolt to line up and start in the threads, any tips to realign them? My bikes down now until I get them back in
It happens more often than you think. haha Put the front wheel in a chock, and put a wooden board unto the motor, and put a jack under that. Let the wood board distribute the weight over a wider area, do NOT put the jack on the bottom of the oil pan directly. Use the jack to put just enough "lift" on the motor that it shifts it the 1-2mm so that you can safely thread the bolt in safe. Hand thread it at least 10 threads before using power tools, to make sure its not cross threaded.
@SquireSCA thank you for getting back so quickly, I'm running out of riding season quick here in Maine and I want to make the best of it. I'm seeing more of it as you said the more I'm searching online. I will definitely try that way. Having lost so much strength from last yrs chemotherapy I'm struggling to even pull the spring on the new center stand and will have to get a friend to do it

Sorry mate, I saw that after I uploaded it. It seemed bright enough in the garage, but it was dark and 30 degrees out so I kept the garage door shut. I will find an LED light bar or something next time, thanks for the constructive feedback.

hello
you still have the original hundell bar of the z900rs ??
I don't know if I kept it or threw it out when I cleaned out the garage... I will have to look later. Why?

An awful lot of talk to listen to while waiting to hear the torque settings! ....... which never came!!
Well it would be a boring video to just say, "Remove this bolt, and put in this other bolt at 55ft/lbs, the end"... lol

Yeah, he's shady AF I hear... lol
The lighting is awful
