I've gotten into a rut when it comes to doing my hair due to fact that my job is active and I just sweat in a warehouse. You have inspired me to just let go and have fun again. I always find braiding easier with nails to part the hair with! Does take some practice though

I told myself the same thing for years until one day I said f*ck it I'm going to regret it if I never do it and if I don't like it it will grow back ! It was the best hair decision I ever made so I really encourage you to do it !

I absolutely adore you! My hair has been through the ringer during covid. Bleach bleach bleach. Tried galaxy hair=fail, emerald green hair-fail on the shade but I loved it. Now I'm trying to remove the blue that was done on virgin and then green at the ends, before I go in with silver for the roots and Wrath by Artic Fox for the rest. So nervous.

I urge you, only if you want to, I am not liable if you do it and don't like it, to chop it off. I had hair past my butt and over the course of a year, I went to hair a few inches longer than hers. I love it. I would cut a few inches, then decide I wanted it a bit shorter, then a bit shorter, and so on. I started my Freshman year of high school with the waist-length hair, dyed purple on the tips. I liked it, but it was a bit too much maintenance for me, and because I had to bleach the tips so make the dye stay longer, it was super dry and damaged, so I cut the dyed part (about 6 inches) off. I cut a small amount off a couple more times. then, at the beginning of Sophmore year, I cut 8 inches off and got to the long bob. Love love love it. One thing I will say is if you are used to long hair, I wouldn't recommend going to a bob like hers right away. Start with a long bob. hair as short as hers is really hard to put in a ponytail or bun, so I would start making sure it's long enough to do that unless you know you won't want to put it in a ponytail.

your hair looks so much healthier now and you have such beautiful face that any length will look great on you! And do not cut layers on your hair now. I cut my hair that length last year, but it always got so PUFFY that I cut layers on the side. Worst mistake ever. I felt like I literally had 3 hairs on my head, so little hair... It looks better now alll grown out (its down to my shoulders now) but it was awful

I cut my hair to a little bit longer than this length about 3 weeks ago, and now it's juuuuust brushing my shoulders so it's doing the flicking up thing at the ends but my under layers are still too short to tie up 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 it's at the worst length now rip 😂

Omg do a video on growing out yr roots bc literally this is what my hair looks like right now but a little less grown out lmao I'm totally tryna get my natural color back but bursting inside bc it's been almost a year roots are just now by my nose and I'm so tempted to dye my hair but not wanting to mess up my going natural process
maybe you could do some balayage till it grows out all the way (dying less and less as time goes on)

For the topic: I dont think short hair has les work. I had this hair cut last summer and i freaked out coz all the time I had them on my neck and it was hot and i could not do a ponytail or somehow to catch them in one place. They anoyed me so much i just wanted to grow them and have them in a freaking ponytail. So i learnd that short hair doesnt mean u have less work. 😣
Thats why i have my hair exactly at my shoulders. Not too long, not too short. Best desicion of my life. I havent had a tangle in my hair since. You can still put it in ponytails(if your hair isnt layered).it suits me well.

Braids looks so nice on brown or any other colour hair . My hair is black so doing braids doesn’t make it look as nice 😂
