Thanks Damian, just bought into their system from using Nikon. I like the L Mount options and the new autofocus. I have the 20-60mm and soon I’ll be looking for a prime. So far me this videos really help if you could include some still shots in future videos unwound much appreciate it.
@@Thewolfamongus74 hey thanks for watching and I don’t normally do photos but I’ll find a way to try that out for you. I’ve heard good things about the photo capabilities of this camera. I’d say the 85mm 1.8 might be a good option for portraits
If I were you, I would try out the 50mm and the 85mm from Lumix. I always thought I would need the 85, but just yesterday I was taking portraits with my 50mm and I was surprised at how much I had to back up for certain shots. I don't remember ever feeling like that with my Lumix 25mm on my GH6 (50mm FF equivalent). It almost has me thinking that maybe it's not a true 50mm and might be a little higher? Either way, the shots turned out great!
Great video. I use the S5II and have the 35mm f1.8 and 18mm f1.8. Thinking of picking up a used copy of the 24-105 F4 cause I’ve only heard positive things. Curious how the 70-300 is working for you? The longer focal length options on Lumix are interesting.
The 24-105 is an amazing lens and I prefer it over the sigma 24-70. The 70-300 is an awesome lens . Considering its rnage its not too heavy of a lens and that variable aperture is so minnimal that it doesnt really warrant paying almost twice for the 70-200. Honestly a great lens and produces a great image like the rest of my lenses.
Its a good lens if you can only take one but if you're running more than 1 camera i find the lens to be pretty heavy and would deter me from wanting to use it on a long shoot day where im running a run and gun set up. With that being said if you are shooting handheld then that extra weight might work in your favour for keeping an image more stable
@@NiisExperience haha I appreciate you saying that but I’m not at a point where I’m making luts but I will make a video for you giving some advice on luts I suggest
Personally I love Sigma lenses i had them when i was on Sony but i've heard a few friends of mine say that the auto focus doesn't work properly on Lumix. I have one Sigma lens and I have a weird focusing issue with it. Other than that the build quality and extra stop of light are things that make the sigma feel more premium and better in the hand when pulling focus.
im with lumix using the s5iix / s9 with Sigma 35mm 1.4 and can say autofocus feels same with my 18mm 1.8 lumix. only con I can mention is the weight compared to the lumix primes but that goes with the build quality. I appreciate the content you put out!

@@DamianLastFilmswould love to see a video on the 24-105
hi are you using any lens filter
Sometimes I use a black pro mist filter but mostly for creative personal work but not on client shoots
How do you look at a lens like the Samyang 35-150 f2-f2.8?
Thanks for your explanation

Bro which one is best between sigma 35mm 1.4 or lumix 35 1.8

For a business use , Panasonic is a very very good choice.
Because you have to think about the cost.
Sony just too expensive, not practical in reality.
Completely agree the 6k open gate is a big plus for being able to record something once and use it for vertical and horizontal footage
“Shooting with Primes will naturally make you a better film maker” 3:29 did you drink the dogs water ? I’m out of your video
@@florinbalaican7419 what do you mean by that? I added a tilt shift blur to give the shot a bit of mystery. That was a stylistic choice not a mistake.
