A question from a French guy : HOW did they enter in ? Breaking a window ? French castles are PRIVATE PROPERTIES not a playground ! Stop "urbex" tourism, folks
The Lysol spray is pretty new. I don't know why they didnt just get a broom, instead of leaving it this way to decay even more. Someone is around, they are just negligent.
I couldn’t help myself. I’d have to check behind every door, open every drawer and cupboard. Inspect every piece of art. inspect every book and document. Look under every bed. Then I’d want to metal detect the grounds. There would never be enough time. Treasure.
There is nothing more enchanting than a Castle with an enormous library packed with books 📚📚all the way to the ceiling,, just like Belle on the Beast’s Castle. Magic. !! Thank you Lesly & Danny. Sending you hugs and love from Panama 🇵🇦💕
I am so fascinated how people lived in the past. Thank you Lesley and Danny. Love how you slowly move around the rooms so we see clearly the details and also the still photos and explaining the history too. It’s amazing that beds are still made. I bet you could make another documentary of this stunning place but show other rooms. I wish Danny didn’t talk over Lesley. Love you guys and look forward to more. ❤❤. From Canada

I hope whoever purchases this stunning bldg restores it & opens it to the public. You all do such amazing work! Thank you. Some of your best work!❤❤❤

In my opinion, this was the most beautifully decorated and uncluttered chateau. Just beauty everywhere you looked. So many are daunting in size and clutter, but this one definitely had a homey feel to it. Thank you, Bros of Decay, this was a charming look at a true piece of history.🤗
I find it wonderful that these beautiful places have not been vandalized! Some that you show us have SO MANY pieces that must be worth a ton. Whether it is furniture or rugs or nick knacks or painting, frames , mirrors, even the marble facades of the fireplaces....all of this is very valuable. It says something to me and that is even the down and out prone to theft people of France must still have a sense of respect. If these places were in the US they would have been stripped of every single thing worth a dollar and up. I believe the family that owns it still lives in the area to provide the minimum care that this place needs to not be completely vandalized or run down by burglars.

I watched a British couple explore this on their channel last week, but they knew nothing about the history and they went through it quickly, obviously missing rooms. I know Leslie and Denny will show us everything and tell us as much as they can. Looking forward to the rest of the documentary…
I always wonder who currently owns this property and why is it left to rot? How do things like this happen when people all over the world are starving and homeless? Oh I just heard it is up for sale, sorry.
So much has been removed from this castle, I pray someone just took the valuables and stored them and they did not get stolen. I wish I was rich, I would buy this and open it up so people could feel the part of history that once was living there. Such a beautiful place, thank you two for doing such a great justice to this castle.
Lesley, wow this is a marvelous abandoned Fairytale Castle. You and Danny treat this location with tremendous respect. I appreciate that virtual tour very much. Thank you!
Absolutely stunning. It's such a shame that the family couldn't keep it. You actually would probably still have to be royalty with an allowance to keep up the restoration maintenance. This is a French treasure. The government should step in and purchase it. Make it a Museum.
This castle is absolutely stunning! I hope it gets sold soon to people who take good care of it! All these older castles need to be preserved. It’s history of grandeur living & architecture.
This was SO much fun exploring this incredible place with you guys! Thank you Leslie and Danny for taking us along. I hope you guys realize the joy you bring by sharing these amazing adventures from around the globe. And you do it so artfully, so beautifully. This one was definitely special. Thank you!!!!! All I can say is "Magnificent"! Thank you for sharing this piece of history, it was incredible. I enjoyed the photos that showed the rooms in their full glory. It rendered me speechless so I can imagine how you felt actually being there.
Gorgeous old place - Château de Fayolle - wonderful! I am glad to hear that it will be sold and presumably refurbished and hopefully returned to its former glory.
This is an extraordinarily beautiful mansion. I’m awe struck at the mammoth size of this castle. In its day it must have been unbelievably awesome. They were so mindful to decorate with such amazing details, everything was matched together perfectly. The theater room and library were so awesome. I truly hope they sell this to someone that will preserve the natural beauty and history of this castle. I enjoyed this video very much! Excellent job Leslie and Danny, bravo 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
i dont know how ive come across your channel...im speechless...your videos literally gave me life in an instant. im so grateful for your amazing work here, thank you!
Why doesn't someone make it into a luxury hotel. Some bedrooms would need to be converted to bathrooms or bathrooms added into the larger rooms. Better than letting it fall into ruin and decay. It always breaks my heart to see books left behind or family photos. You always do such an amazing job of finding the history of places you explore and are so respectful of the place.
Don't think there would be demand for it, France has one castle per village/town they just have so many castles that a few just need to be abandoned that is just the way of things, plus rich people probably wouldn't want to come here they'd want to be in hotels surrounded by rich parts of big cities such as Paris or Nice not in a small village.

I am pleased that the building is up for sale and that whomever inherited it was able to go in and remove the tapestries and other items they wanted to keep or have preserved in museums. hi Lesley & Danny, i am so glad that this Castle has been sold & will be looked after. It looks to be in good condition. The Theatre Stage is beautiful. Yes an Amazing Castle indeed. Thank you so much.
What a great episode Bros of Decay is my favorite, but the filming of extra detail with paintings, tapestries etc was extra awesome along with the extra historical explanations. Well done great episode.
Well detailed … well documentary …. Easy to understand behind the stories of this magnificent castle . I was mesmerized the curtains and those beds … weeee 🤩🤩🤩🤩 this is a real deal castle . What a treasure and I hope somebody out there are willing to restore . So sad just sat there unoccupied .
I love how the fabric on the walls with the picture fames line up exactly right with the picture fame fabric on the two head boards of the beds. Very beautiful. It is a castle on the outside but you can see it was decorated like a palace on the inside.
Breathtakingly beautiful! French interior design --- especially French Provincial design -- is my favorite decor. Thank you for taking us along on this enchanting tour. My favorite rooms were the library and the little theater room. 🥰
The most respectful urban ex I have ever seen. Your passion and enthusiasm is so clear for us to see. Thank you for sharing, and thank you for your conduct around this wonderful building.
Hello Lesley and Danny! The Castle are amazing beautiful, all architecture design and small detail 😮. Thank you for all information you and Danny found about it. Incredible video today 🙌 😊❤🤗🤗😘😘
Lesley , you did such a good job on this! That was really a stunning castle! I can’t believe all of the artifacts and furniture etc. that were left in there. I truly hope that they are able to preserve that and at least make it into a museum. Thank you so much. Beautiful editing too. Sending sweet vibes from California.💜🫶🤗😎🇺🇸
Lesley: This is the second time I have looked at this, there are really no words to describe it. There is not much damage, and you can tell that the owner has taken all of the tapertries and some of the paintings and other pictures as well. Even with this there are still many things in the castle that should be in a museum. The books especially the old ones a library would love to have. And in America the other books with the beautiful leather bindings individuals would buy to fill their bookcases. Books in the library are fantastic. You have pictures of some of the rooms the way they looked when someone lived there, I really liked that. I noticed they have used fabric on some of the walls instead of wallpaper, some people in the United States also use both on their walls. Thanks for all you do. Bob Law
What a place!!! I wish I could buy that castle. I would make it beautiful, and restore it as best as I could to make it as close to the original as possible. I cant believe places like this are just left abandoned, with such beautiful things still inside, and a 900 yr old wooden table, looking gorgeous. This castle is a national treasure for France. Alot was going on there. You gleaned from it all I was tapping into.
It was quite a bit 'off'...right?
Dakujeme za vašu pracu, jeto velmi vzacne a zaujímavé.
I love how excited they are... they lead us to a dream trip inside this palace...
hi Lesley & Danny, i am so glad that this Castle has been sold & will be looked after.
I really appreciate it when you are able you show pictures of what the rooms looked like.
Love your work. Watch them all. Whispering then super loud music, blew my headphones out. Not a movie. Keep up the wonderful work!
Waiting patiently for the chateau ❤🎉, Lesley. It looks fantastic 😍
The most respectful urban ex I have ever seen. Your passion and enthusiasm is so clear for us to see. Thank you for sharing, and thank you for your conduct around this wonderful building.
A good conduct would've been not to enter a private property without having been invited to do so.
@@frontenac5083 that’s a good point
Hello Lesley and Danny! The Castle are amazing beautiful, all architecture design and small detail 😮. Thank you for all information you and Danny found about it. Incredible video today 🙌 😊❤🤗🤗😘😘
I really appreciate how respectful you are with these incredible places. It says a lot about you! Great job
Bob Law

This is one of the most fabulous castles you have ever showcased. Absolutely beautiful and amazing! Thank you for showing it to us.👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽🙌🏼💖
Nossa!

@Brosofdecay, you have come such a long way on your channel. I love when you dress in the period costumes. It just really brings the mansions to life. Love your intros also, very well done.
A beautiful abandoned such as this deserves covering so thoroughly since it’s so interesting in elements of mystery, and parts of historyThanks Lesley and Danny! May your travels be safe and enjoyable ❤🎉Just truly magnificent!
It's so interesting to just Imagine everyday life inside....centuries be back....and all these people who lived here, visited it..
ITS GORGEOUS ❤
THANK YOU FOR SHOWING THIS BEAUTY 🙏
Gorgeous!!!! I hope they sell it and the new home owner makes it shine again.....
Exquisite example of how the nobility lived in historical France. I hope the future owners take good care of this palace, and restore the damage to bring it back to its full beauty.🖤🇨🇦
JUST AMAZING , BREAtHtAKING, and ENCHANTING !!!!!! Thank You for the Wonderful Tour !!!
Fascinating place. A real huge big and marvellous castle
Inside is beautiful. Nice decorations. My god how can it be abandoned?
What a place!!! I wish I could buy that castle. I would make it beautiful, and restore it as best as I could to make it as close to the original as possible. I cant believe places like this are just left abandoned, with such beautiful things still inside, and a 900 yr old wooden table, looking gorgeous. This castle is a national treasure for France. Its such a shame. I hope who ever buys it fixes it up and returns it to its full glory. So amazing.
What a beautiful place .I love the respect you have for peoples belongings.Hi from Canada 🇨🇦
Przepiękny zamek. Wspaniała opowieść przedstawialjąca dawne czasy. Dziękuję za piękną przygodę. Pozdrawidm i życzę dalszych odkryć❤
