I know from personal experience
So far, two couples that got together because of a show at my school are still together. One couple is on year three, the other couple in on month 10
There were many other couples that happened, and they broke up during tech week, so these two are very rare cases
I have a huge crush on this guy but the show hasn't actually started yet...

I know who Ryan's referring to, but the more he talked, the more celebrity couples or 'friends' floated through my head. This is proof of how manipulative the media is, and how it's not a clearcut and simple solution for the people affected to just say no or tell the truth.

Well said Ryan! This "theoretical" insight should be seen by everyone who reads information about others relationships then vilifies the parties involved based on the "facts" reported by tabloid-esque "news" sources. Any young people who get through the entertainment industry without severe drug/alcohol/mental health problems (or those who survive these) deserve bloody medals!

Not to mention these said young people who, at least, theoretically (boy, THAT'S the word of the day) tend to come from families who are anywhere from merely "dysfunctional" to completely screwed up. I'll concede that my last statement may be unfair, but that's my own observation.

As an former actor who gave up for weekend with friends and nights of "normality"... Sometimes it really doesn't feel real cause you're free when everyone else is working and you're working when everyone else is having fun AND most weirdly sometimes the fun is the reason why you can't go out with them in the first place (shout out for my friends who went to see me on stage). It's not a real job, i'd say it's a surreal job or an unreal job. Became a therapist.
This kinda reminds me of this show about these twin sisters actually played by the same actress I grew up watching. Anyways, I know that examples completely out of the blue since Ryan was clearly talking about a hypothetical, but what a coincidence!
Theoretically, I'm very grateful that the person in this hypothetical situation shared their perspective on this. I knew that a lot of the stuff we see in the tabloids is being puppeteered by someone behind the scenes, but to this extent? Woah. Sending love, Ryan ❤

I'm not gonna lie when I first started watching Sam and Ryan I had a weird feeling about Ryan and didn't really like him, and then also found out about the whole controversy (which theoretically could be mentioned in this video). But the more I watch him, especially in these videos, the more I really, really like him. He seems so genuine and naturally funny and this channel is so REAL. I'm so grateful for that.

I think it’s sad and unfair that people who are in the public eye are not afforded any privacy, especially in their romantic lives. It’s mind boggling to me that people think they are entitled to know everything about another person, like they aren’t just a human themselves. It really irritates me when I’m watching people’s interviews and almost always there are questions about the celebrity’s significant other, sometimes more so focused on them then the actual person being interviewed. So sad :( glad you’re talking about it. It’s not something I personally relate to, but the idea of it all is important and worth speaking on. Thanks for sharing with us!
I don’t know why this came up on my feed but I’m glad as I was very invested in this hypothetical relationship I mean all the RUclips videos and music released- I can see how PR thought that was a gold mine- definitely thought this theoretical relationship was the cutest thing ever. This is such an important thing for anyone at all engrossed in celebrity culture to hear. Just because it seems real doesn't mean all (or any) of it is.
i know the hypothetical relationship that he is talking about and referring to but honestly looking back at all highly publicized relationships it’s crazy to me how often this probably happens. like if i was a celebrity i couldn’t even imagine dating anyone especially not publicly.

When I was younger I was obsessed with his relationship with his ex haha and knowing the truth kind of hurts my teenage self heart😂 I remember having an Instagram account dedicated to their music duo, and being so devastated by their break up. I constantly edited pictures of them together, I was so naive. When they broke up all the fans started fighting with each other. Most of them took his ex’s side and said he was an ab*ser, I took Ryan’s side and my account was transformed into a Ryan McCartan Instagram fan page until I grew up and stopped posting. Anyway, I’m so happy I found Sam and Ryan’s RUclips channel two years ago. I love to see you happy now and I love your content here!
Yeah it sucked to me as well, mostly because I loved the music they were making together. TBH I always had a feeling it was more so because of the girl than him.

This is so random but I used to LOVE Liv & Maddie as a kid and I used to LOVE Team Edge a few years back and it feels like such a small world now that I found out that Ryan from L&M and Samantha from the Team Edge team are dating like I’m mindblown
I loved your insights about this. I don't really care about other people's relationships, but I won't deny sometimes I like to read about them like it's some drama book plot. It's easy to forget that there are actual human being with feelings behind them and that they deserve as much privacy as I give everyone else in my life.

That was some wonderful theoretical insight. As someone who is also an actor, I can neither confirm or deny the theory but it feels like something 😉But FR, thank you for sharing your insight. People automatically read the tabloids and think they know the truth and can therefore, give their 2 cents on the situation when in fact unless you are in that relationship, you really shouldn't speak on it.
