      FL Panhandler you are very welcome. I wish y’all good luck with your tractor. I’m using mine every three weeks to bush hog some of our property. I recently lubed the seat suspension system and adjusted it (which I should have done years ago). I also have new front tires/tubes to install, which I might do next week.

      @@PatrioticRottweiler have you ever aligned the front tires? Trying to find some information on that now.

      FL Panhandler no, unfortunately I don’t have any information on that. My tractor tracks straight and steers good.

    Quick question maybe I didnt catch it. Do you drain the old injection pump oil from a separate screw or does it drain into the engine oil? Im confused if it uses oil from the engine or if it is a separate system thanks

    • @PatrioticRottweiler
      @PatrioticRottweiler  4 года назад +5

      Here is the exact wording from the online manual that I have. The injection pump on 1500,1700, 1710, 1900, 1910 and 2110 models is lubricated by the same type of oil as is used in the engine. On 1500 1700 and 1900 models, oil in the pump should be drained and pump filled with new oil to level plug opening after every 200 hrs of operation. Oil drain plug, level plug and fill plug are shown in fig 113. On 1710, 1910 and 2110 models, the injection pump utilizes oil from the engine crankcase for lubrication. When changing engine oil (every 100 hrs), add approximately 5 ounces of clean oil through pump filler opening for 1710 models or approximately 8 ounces of oil for 1910 and 2110 models. So from reading that, if you have a 1910 model you don’t need to drain the injection pump as it drains with the rest of the old engine oil. Then when filling new oil pour 8 ounces into the pump and then put the rest of the new oil in the normal engine oil fill location. I hope this helps you out.

    Hi there really appreciate you videos on this tractor, especially the part numbers.
    I'm looking to do some maintenance on my dads, and wondering how much oil you used in the tractor, also looking to find a manual on this tractor, did you find it online? Or have to buy it somewhere.
    Thanks! Appreciate all yours vids, I have tie rods, alternator to replace, all fluids, filters.
    Thanks!

      Check the description area of this video for part numbers and fluid amounts. It calls for 6.9 quarts of oil, so I would at least buy 7 quarts.
      As for the manual, I purchased it online (can’t remember the website) for about $10 and it is a pdf document that downloaded to my iPad. I also use my iPad to keep records of the service information so that way I can always go back and see what I did and when I did it. If I had your email address, I could email you the manual I have but that’s up to you.

    • @PatrioticRottweiler

      For parts/filters I usually get them from Amazon or eBay. Once you know the part number for the item you are looking for then it’s easy to compare prices online to get the best deal. I keep track of all service info, including part numbers on my iPad so that the next time I have to change something I’ll already know the numbers and when it was last changed. As far as the manual, there are two options. You can do an online search for a paper manual or download one directly to your device. Also they have a Operators manual and a Service manual both for a price. I chose to download the Service manual to my iPad and I saved it in a folder with the Word Document where I keep track of the service work that I do. If I remember correctly it was only around $10-$20. Good luck on your project……
