I'm preordered and have no regrets, even knowing I'd get it for free on game pass. This looks absolutely incredible and Atlus absolutely deserves my money, not to mention sales will incentivize more releases like this.

Honestly, in Vegas at least, the physical copy of Persona 5 on Xbox was rare as fuck. But after I found one in at a GameStop for $30, I immediately preordered Persona 3 for my series X

I played P3:P on PSP, I always wanted to play P3:FES. Been hooked ever since. I didn't get into JRPGs until I was 18-20. Will pick this up on switch most likely.

As someone who didn’t care much about the Answer or FemC campaigns, I’m only mad they aren’t included because if something you pointed out- there’s probably gonna be a “complete” edition that they reveal in like 2 years that will have those aspects, and it’ll be $80. Not offered as DLC, just a “new” game. I liked P5 Royal’s added epilogue story, but the grappling hook, new social links, and extra 10 hours of gameplay didn’t warrant an extra $60 for me personally.

I've played P3 FES and P3P.
I didn't like P3P and although I really enjoyed P3 FES, uncontrollable party members forced me to be the team healer to stop myself raging too much.
P3R will have so many improvements that its more than worth it to me

Yeahh I think the ONLY reason people would prefer the original is bias and nostalgia. That's not to say those are invalid, it's perfectly normal and okay to have biases and nostalgic connections and I definitely have things I love as a result of them, but yeah things like new battle system, varied visuals in Tartarus, modern polish are just huge

I really hope the resolution does include 1440p 60fps on PS5. I say this because the Granblue Fantasy Relink demo doesn’t support 1440p but does support 4K 30fps

Yeah I didn’t preorder but the day I heard it came out I lost a easy 80 but just seeing the menu intro was already enough to put tears in my eyes from how pretty it was

FeMC is never happening, the answer maybe but unlikely. Atlus has too much going on to work on all that stuff and it wouldn’t be worth it.

This will be the first time we have had an actual complete remake of a Persona game, disregarding differences between the older P3 titles, so I'm hoping that they don't need to go their traditional route and make the "upgrade" version. It's always great that they release the all-in-one package titles for each corresponding game, but if I think that they will do that as the customer I'm better off just waiting for a P3RFES.
I got it on gamepass for now and plan to get it on steam on sale down the line of the modding community pops off
As a huge Persona fan and P3P being my favorite from the series, I was very hyped when I saw this for the first time, then, after hearing that they changed the voice actors, I have canceled the preorder and not even sure if I will buy at all, even on sale...such a disappoitment...
I wished for this release to even be a thing. Payed for the ps5 collectors and now i got it digitally for steam to enjoy on both my steam deck and Pc rig. 😅😅😅

I’m real hesitant to get this game. I got P3 and P3 FES for PS2 and P3P for PSP. Plus I expect a newer version in 2 or 3 years with the female protagonist from P3P and other new stuff.

Persona 3 story is hands down the best one.
I will wait until they add FES, I never played as the female and I would love a playthrough with her, it would bring enough change. However, if the reviews are very good about the new content..

I really want to play the remaster, but I'm getting tired of Atlus dropping these games at full price and then making you pay it again for the complete edition + bonus content. The games are also so long that I tend to only do one completionist playthrough. I have a feeling that they'll do a Royal equivalent for P3 Reload, with the cut FES/Portable content... so I'll pass for now.
I've seen people say to just wait for the Expanded edition that they pretty much always do for persona games but honestly? Persona 3 is so massive and just so damn good I'm way more then willing to pay for it twice

P3 is the best persona to me. It just came out on ps2 so of course it would lack in content vs p5. But I personally think p5 is alright. I love all of them. But my top 4 is.

while this looks really awesome and am excited for it, am a little annoyed by the lack of FeMC (really like her character) and that they chose to remake the Vanilla instead of the FES version.
So in half a month we get The Awakening DLC and then another year or more later we get Persona 3 Rereupload with the FeMC.
That's so dramatic, they are including Fes content, just The Answer is not included, and what makes you think this will get a rerelease? The other games just got rereleases because it was content they hadn't thought before when the originals released, that's the logic behind the rereleases people make such a fuss about, that excuse doesn't fly with a remake from a 2006 game, also Femc was just added in P3P to compensate the visual downgrade on P3P the devs even admitted to it, also it's easier to add her in a VN then a 3D game, they would have to change her UI, OST, SL plus more VA, new scenes, events exclusive to her, it would be basically 2 games into one, and this would mean at least a few more years of production and development cost
@joaolima7131 if I had to guess they may do what Fire Emblem Fates did and release a second version down the line with only the Female MC.
This week and the next week is just to many good games. I will most likely buy p3r , espeically if the reviews is somewhat good. Now doesnt one of the greatest jrpgs also means one of the best game? I have finished p3 fes 10 years ago I think, at an absolute near perfect time and p4g at an even more perfect time. P4g is one of the few games I have cried of the same goes when i rewatched the p3 ending. So yeah I will most likely get it. Along with some other new games. And yeah I will probalby get in on steam instead of gamepass, one is one of the longer games, b it might be a game where I will replay later, p4g and p5r being along with ff iv the only jrpgsw i finished more then once. So there that and then there is that the p4g if I am not mistaken has also been removed from gamepass and is one of the longer games thus I will probably get in on Steam instead of having to worry about it getting removed from the gamepass in the future. Gamepass is great especially for shorter games. Also that opening in the game is good. Is not unlikely we get an edition later ,but I dont think that will be for a time, and even so I think the game will be still well worth is money if Atlus has done a good and fair job. I will face my self is great. I also love reach out for the truth or corner of memories. The orginal p3fes is or atleast in 2014 was among my all time fav or best game ,so if the remaken can even come close to that and is more up to date is not unlickley simple becouse of the story ,characters, music, the amosphere hopefully etc. And yeah like a dragon and granblue is also games I might and probaby will get ,especially the former since its got good critics. And I really liek the series.
