BEFORE THE BATTLE BEGINS: I believe Uta Arima and Ken are a must in this battle as they all play a crucial role into beating Yamori. The best backup would be Renji at 1* as he provides insane benefits on the team. Other backups you can run are Naki and Shinohara. The 4th slot could be either Hinami, Iwao 1*, Ryoko Fueguchi 1* or anyone that could provide team wide buffs and keep everyone alive. I still have yet to test Taunt characters to see if they could work in Phase 2 and 3 but I will update that in the future. THOUGHT PROCESS DURING THE BATTLE: PHASE 1: Firstly we need to tank the inevitable attack as we cannot weak him so we must use double uta + Arimas. Another thing is there is a damage threshold you must hit for Yamori to trigger his revenge attack that would decrease all skill level of cards. 1:13 You do not want it to trigger in your next attack because you have to weak him with Kanekis and you do not want Yamori to affect that. For the next attack we did double uta double Ken and I purposefully saved Ken cards as the next phase Ken plays a crucial part in smoothly beating phase 2. If you do not kill him this turn it is fine as you have an extra turn to attack him without him attacking back due to applying weak. PHASE 2: This is the hardest phase because his arm 1 shots any unit except for Arima because of his passive. Before we begin we MUST TARGET YAMORI. During our first attack we used 3 Kens to ensure we are able to weak him the next turn as his weak meter is actually 10 instead of the displayed 2, 2, 6. I also knew that he would regen any damage we dealt to him so I did not go all out and use all my Kens to ensure I had enough damage to wipe him in 2 more turns. As you can see at 4:25, he 1 shots my shachi. He will always target PSY and WIT units first before targeting any other element and that is why Arima is crucial for this battle as he can tank 1 hit with his passive as shown in 5:55. At this point it is just doing the most damage possible to move onto Phase 3. PHASE 3: This last phase is pretty straight forward as in doing as much damage as possible. Just like in Phase 2 we MUST TARGET YAMORI. To ensure you survive well enough you can opt into Double Uta and stack Arima attacks to provide a hefty shield to tank all incoming damage as well as do insane amount of damage because of Arima's damage scaling with shield. If his arm does attack it will always attack Arima as stated in Phase 2. With all said and done, you should be able to clear Phase 3 and beat the Formidable Challenge!
