Thank you Ben, that is the clearest explanation I've ever heard about Marksmanship and staying the pace with a Master. Trying that drill next week. Cheers, great vids.

How do you keep your firing hand relaxed and still keep your wrist locked or stiff?

That target tho! At 25 yards or whatever, .17 splits damn!

The way his pistol hardly moves is very impressive. His grip is so much better than mine...

Yeah, I can't seem to grab the gun HARD enough for it to hardly move...

@@epickett63 Video yourself shooting from the side. I always thought that the gun seems to jump around like crazy then I'd watch videos of myself shooting and it doesn't look all that different than this. Perception is a bitch.

@@epickett63Ben’s grip is “grip the gun just enough to not let it fly out of your hand. Don’t squeeze down” he talks about it in some of his RUclips videos

@@v1_rotate638 That sounds counter-intuitive. I realize the firing hand isn't supposed to have a death grip, but the support had certainly should, right?

@@epickett63 nothing should be death gripped the support hand should have more grip than the firing hand the way he explains it your firing hand grips as hard as you would a can of soda when you go to open it and the support hand grips as hard as your HAND can grip. if you're using your bicep or forearm to add "muscle" to your grip youre doing it wrong. no tension in your arms or shoulders. you just have to TRUST that being target focused your gun will reorient back to where it needs to be.
