    I love the fact that they have a dim bulb tester in their SDS/ADS fabrication room 😁

    Factory tour? I can't see a single part being manufactured. Assembly rooms and folks, mounting together what has already been manufactured somewhere else.
    So where are the turntables really produced?

    WHAT why are you in such a small space!?!?!?!?
    this is not what I expected at all for VPI HQ / factory?
    making amazing turntables that are way to expensive

    • @alb.1911
      @alb.1911 7 лет назад +4

      Maybe because they don't need more?
      At the end the results are what really matter.
      The Hi-End market is very limited, don't expect to see big factory in this game... ;)

      U R NOT ME exactky, they aren't selling thousands every week, no need to rent a giant space. It's the quality that counts.

    Thank you Stereophile for doing another tour. Again exposing how little innovation these supposed high end audio equipment brands have. How many times does one need to say made in America make the product better. Another brand de-mystified.

    What a terrible mess of a place, very poor working conditions
    And hear we go again with the emperor’s new cloths
    Way back when there were only records I bought all the SME’s and turntables
    But I always dreamed of cd’s with their pure sound Lp’s do not sound better
    When I go to a live concert and listen to a string quartet I do not hear crackles and pops like you get on a record
    These crazy people are not listening to the music they just love watching the turntable going round, I am a photographer who used film for decades and now use digital its the same as the records move on they are just tools
    typical because we believe this ridiculous degree of audiophile you assume we are hateful jealous people, No its because we believe in spending our time listing to music not equipment

    • @renaissance6745
      @renaissance6745 6 лет назад

      Yes I have and I was knighted for doing so, also the product is keeping us all a bit more safe from the bad guys, as to know what it is its mine to know and yours to wonder .

      Most high end audio manufacturers are very modest operations. Cottage industries. This generally doesn't compromise the end product. Rather, it improves it as you'll find, I think, that each operative is an expert in his/her area. VPI produces a superb finished product. Always good to see Mat's enthusiasm. It's good to know the industry is progressively moving to good custodianship by such young guns.

      When you go to a live concert you hear coughs and people moving around in their seats instead. You don't know better than people that enjoy vinyl and film, you don't need to push your subjective opinions on others like someone in the grip of teen angst, it's not needed.
