i grabbed all of my classical when they were mostly a dollar or free i have many decca and dutch gramophone thanks to my ultrasonic its greatly improved listening enjoyment ...
I know it is a joke😂. And they say it is about the engineering... blah blah. They cost as much as a car. You think a TT has more engineering then a car. It is just a pissing contest. A SL1200g would wipe the floor with all these 40 grand tables
Wonder how much the phono pre will cost? There should be more phono preamps with A to D converters. PS audio used to make one called the Nuwave phono converter but that's been discontinued.
Sorry to nitpick, but for 30k, the red anodizing should be more consistent. The feet parts are nicely saturated in color, while the frame is quite faded.
I once walked into that store in my old dirty clothes, bare foot, flies buzzing around me, carrying an open bottle of wine in a paper bag. Would you believe that everyone just ignored me? Snobs!!
I do that all the time, hahaha. Just to see if they are dicks and how they treat people. I got money, but I don't like giving it to people who are just nice because they see dollar signs on you.
Alta, Utah. Pronounced Al-ta, like my buddy is Al, with a Tuh, like Duh. NOT All-ta.....NO NO on the "All" thingy!!! I lived in Salt Lake as a 3 year old to bout 33 years old. Say it "Alta". Look it up on Dr. Google!
17.5K made in China. Tell me that they couldn't make enough profit off those speakers if they were made in the states at that price. What were the other set 35K? When asked if they were made in China, no these drivers came from here and there. Bet they were assembled in China. He should be embarrassed to say that. Sorry about the rant, I know some good stuff comes out of China, but this kind of thing just remind me of greed.
on a serious note, it's really difficult to find U.S. companies that produce the same quality products and finishes. Just read Schiit Audio's book on how difficult it was for them to find folks who worked with their casings. I mean, I'd prefer U.S. Manufacturing. As a former art teacher, I can tell that you most kids aren't being taught non-STEM curriculum, so aren't really trained to work with materials as my generation was.
Thanks for thumbing through the classical records.
VPI just makes gorgeous gear!
Yes, all made for the eye, but Aluminium is not the best choice material.
Goodness. These guys talk rapidly!
Obnoxiously fast!

Wow. It’s amazing how these companies are working on perfecting sound.
Matt seems so shy 😂 I was exhausted after listening to him
I just can't with these prices lol

A to D is a crime against nature, I think

Oligarch audio house. Don’t forget the moon rock needle
I thought this was the VPI house? This guy from Alta speakrrs belongs outside a carnival tent.
The "United Nations" of speakers includes ... Taiwan?
I picked up 200+ classical box sets for £20 the other day
The two loudspeaker models have some very interesting technologies perhaps unique to them.
17000 for the first pair they looked at? 100% out of line!!!!! Anyone who buys those has rocks in their head.
2:31 Colonel Klink's dad conducting Mahler 4 for 500 bucks? Holy smokes!
They must be Hot stampers 🤣
@ $25,000 the band could play live in my backyard lol. 😊
Man i want to get me a VPI vortex record cleaner
Hello, there is this house open to the public?
M.F: How much are these amplifiers?
Answer: $25K a piece.
M.F: That's not bad.🤣

Why pay all that money! Doesn't have dust cover
17000 AND they're made in China?
New Jersey
Yes. For VPI turntables. I was speaking on the Alta speakers. $17000 and made in China.👎
Well that was a load of total BS
