- This video shows a comparison of all of winning/victory animations of every playable & unlockable character in Crash Team Racing Nitro Fueled for Nintendo Switch, PS4 and Xbox One to the original animations in CTR and CNK. The 26 characters of the roster in this game are: Crash, Cortex, Tiny, Coco, N. Gin, Dingodile, Polar, Pura, Penta Penguin, Ripper Roo, Papu Papu, Komodo Joe, Pinstripe, Fake Crash, Nitros Oxide, N. True..im watching on 1080p but cannot see the difference
The only difference i notice is there are no trophy girl....
Well if your phones resolution is 1440p(my phone's resolution) then there's a huge difference.
Things I miss:
-Cortex's little dance
-Tiny's powerful roar (I blame CNK for that goofy howl, wish they hadn't used it for NF)
-Dingodile not singing "dingo dingo dingo" like a moron (I think CNK first introduced that too, although not in the victory animation)
-Ripper Roo's more continuous and energetic jumping, I don't like how much the new one stops and starts
-Personally, I prefer Komodo Joe's dancing in the original
-N. Tropy getting his fork stuck. It wouldn't bother me for other characters but I prefer him to be the slightly more serious and dignified villain of the series (along with Uka Uka).
(Side note: what the hell is up with CTR Polar's eyes in this video? I don't remember them looking that weird.)

@@gavinphoenixballesteros3080 Sorry, I realise it probably seemed super negative to only list the stuff I didn't like, I liked everything else just fine, I was just nitpicking some things that bugged me a little (and crap, I just realised I didn't phrase the N. Tropy one right for the "Things I Miss" header...).

Tiny Tiger's roaring is one of the few things that Brendan O'Brien did more right than John DiMaggio, as I generally prefer John's voicing of him.

wish i could activate classic crash in classic adventure mode. im a new comer so i want to feel what its sorta like to the original. you can only use retro in arcade race.
@@FreeAimDog I can see your point, but it could be worse. They really did the best they could with this one, and I'm sure the results are better than what Activision could have done. Heck, at least it isn't like Call of Duty where every game is the exact same with no differences. Remakes should be different in some way to tell themselves apart from the original, and I think they did a good job balancing that out.

@Cainthegamer11 Channel 1 They are just animated so lazily, including barely any of the animation principles and they don't have the character displayed in the original and Nitro Fueled. It's got nothing to do with technological limitations

He was brainwashed by N. Trance, so that could be a part of it. :P Though so were Polar and Pura, and they were rather normal compared to Dingodile (though they are also domestic animals so that's probably why).

I really wished that some Tag Team Racing characters like Pasadena, Nina and Von Clutch would make an appearance. At least we got the two commentators of CTTR.

I don't like how they messed up N. Trance's size, making him smaller. He was always meant to be large. I can understand making N. Trance's in-kart model smaller to fit in with the other Intermediate characters in Crash Nitro Kart, but in Nitro-Fueled... why? At least they fixed up Dingodile's size. They made him smaller than he was meant to be in Crash Nitro Kart.
Not sure about Dingodile's podium victory in Nitro-Fuelled though. I feel that it contradicts his usual personality. Since Dingodile was usually quite serious. Even his puns in Crash Bandicoot 3: Warped and Crash Twinsanity were delivered in a serious tone. While he does seem to match up with his Crash Nitro Kart counterpart more, his Crash Nitro Kart counterpart was hypnotised.

NGL, although I do love Cortex's Nitro Fueled victory animation, his CTR victory dance is so... PERFECT.
Nitro Fueled actually gave Coco a victory animation. Only took them 20 years.
Dingodile in Nitro Fueled basically has the Cortex syndrome here: his Nitro Fueled victory animation is funny, but CTR's is much better.
I actually like Penta's Nitro Fueled victory animation more, as his CTR victory animation was ripped right out of Crash 2.
Ripper Roo's victory animation is another thing I love about Nitro Fueled, because they don't use a laugh ripped straight out of a 1950's Disney movie.
Komodo Joe again suffers the Cortex syndrome here.
Pinstripe's victory animation is perfect in both versions, what else can I say?
N. Tropy is another victim of the Cortex Syndrome.
Crunch's Nitro Fueled victory animation I like more than in Nitro Kart. In Nitro Kart, it's just him flexing (at least we know he's canon now, since Nitro Kart does take place before It's About Time. Why else do you think Oxide is in the latter?).

I didn't realize how much more detail was put into most of the OG animations (so not just chars from Nitro Kart like N.Trance). Coco went from just standing there, hair flipping, to looking at her nails, to a full fledged blogging scene. N. Gin's dance gained a few more steps (though tbh, I liked the OG dance more; This one's a little wonky, and I liked his OG loss animation better as well), and Cortex stopped his random foot slapping (wait, that was a dance??) to make a super epic sci-fi villain pose, while still doing his evil laugh.
But then there are those like N. Tropy who went through various changes. His CTR one is my fave, but I like the CNT one a bit as well; It's like he knows he also knew he would be the Big Bad in another Crash game (and heck, have a little bonus). ;) This was his what...3rd game? If we include N.Tranced? xD
Anywho, I'm not saying all of them were "better" by any means, but they put in more frames than usual and some have more character to them. Some of them - like Coco's - are immensely improved, while some like N. Gin and N. Tropy could have a bit more or less.
The funny part is crash was family friendly in both 1999 and 2019

I mean... that was the whole point of the 'Nitro-Fueled' part of the title. It's basically a CTR game (cus of adventure mode and battle, etc) but with CNK injected as extra

I didn’t like that CNK didn’t had different theme for certain characters, but I still prefer CNK than CTTR. Also am I the only one annoyed by the characters being so loud in CNK? One last thing the other characters have hats on, are they being mind control?
Pura, Dingodile, and Polar are mind-controlled by N. Trance I believe, hence why are they part of his team.

Nitrous Oxide's The only one in the original CTR to not have a victory animation because he's not Playable. So, instead we just see a losing animation of him stomping around in anger. But, Luckily, The other racing games fixed That.
