Spyro hasn't made an appearance in a crash racing game since Nitro Kart (GBA)
And in a Crash game since Twinsanity
Well spyro was planned to be in team racing but he was replace by the penguin for balance reason
So, we're not counting Skylanders Imaginators' racing mode where Crash, Cortex and Spyro were all playable, then?

N-V? No. But il tell you, when I had an Xbox 360, I had Crash: Mind Over Mutant! I only got past the Coco battle and couldnt go further 'cause I was slacking.
I love how Evil Coco and Evil Crunch from Mind Over Mutant return as costumes, complete with their NV's still on their heads! I'm so glad that the Titans games are still being acknowledged in the newer games!

It seems rather odd that Spyro is classified as an Expert difficulty racer. I was more expecting him to be a Balanced racer, like Crash.

Its most likely a nod to the fact Spyro was also an advanced character in the GBA version of Crash Nitro Kart. I'm glad they didn't make him balanced, I'm honestly more surprised Hunter is, and not accel.
I love the new Wizard Joe skin. He looks badass and has an awesome victory animation.

I have a theory that there will be more GPs from Spyroverse in the future since Spyro Circuit is based only on the first game. That would be a good reason to skip Ripto, otherwise this is quite a disappointment in the choice of characters.

The orc version of Big Norm reminds me of Zartog from Space Chimps. Plus Garden Gnome Velo definitely makes me think of Gnomeo and Juliet with the prominent use of red and blue.

I love the attention to detail put into this Grand Prix when it comes to the art and animation, the gems and gem crates, sparks as a mask etc are great touches. The new track has some great scenery but AS A TRACK feels lazy, uninspired and boring/annoying to actually drive.
Spyro and the karts look great and it's cool Spyro is a speed character but Christ the voice lines are too cringe for me to handle playing as him - Maybe the PS1 games had cringier voice lines than I remember but every time I hear "DRAGON your feet" I die a little inside.
I wanted to love all of this but it's only a 6.5/10 for me
We need to wait for Koala Kong, 3 CTTR characters, Rilla Roo and the last of the Boss in CNK is Fake Velo.

I know Mario and Sonic have done that for years, but it's Crash and Spyro's turn.
Most of these Legendary skins aren't mostly related to Spyro 1 except Zam which looks exactly like the ones in the Dream Keepers worlds. Big Norm and Small Norm look like Goblins From lord of the Rings, Viking Polar isn't in a Dragon world or outside the Dragon World, Komodo Joe is almost, but does not Match with the wizards in the Magic Crafters world, Real Velo I don't Know cause it looks like it is found as a decoration in one of Gnasty's Loot room. Evil Coco and Crunch are from MoM not from Spyro of course.
The Norms’ costumes are actually references to World of Warcraft

2. Loved How Dlora Zoe and Bianca's New Design's and Hope they could become Play Able in Spyro's New games after Activision looks up what Magical and Butt Kicking and Useful Abilities Faun's Fairies and Rabbits Have.
3. Fresh Storylines is what Spyro needs Games to Inspire our younger generation of fans.

It’s for the PS4 exclusive kart bodies and promotional karts. The Champion is a customizable kart body.
