I’m Liam Harrison, Bolton born and bred. I’m a lover of Golf, life and laughter.
Started Golf 12 years ago after packing in football when i was 28 due to a back injury.
I started the RUclips channel as a laugh and a Wim, to make me practice but that went out the window as i started vlogging, loving being on camera but more so the interaction with my #golfmates.
In 14 months i have seen the channel evolve and become the only real golf community on RUclips which i am extremly proud of.
I would like to thank all the #golfmates that have been with us and supported us and the channel from the start. Also not forgetting our new #golfmates that may have only just come across the channel.

Pat is a true golfing great. Knows how to get the best out of what he has. My mate Kev has what he calls his 3rd shot rule which Pat plays to perfection. When you asked best course played for me anywhere as long as I get one game with the master.

Part of my pre shot routine these days includes the thought 'what would old man Pat do?'. That simple thought alone has got me playing some of the best golf I've played since taking up this crazy game 3 years ago.

I have been watching OMP alot. I have been struggling with my game. Played first round d like OMP plays yesterday, shot a 97. Had a very bad par 4 that turned into a 9 on the card and shot 4 doubles. Ill be a bogey golfer in a month, only play on Saturdays. Been 3 years since I played. Love the game. Just wanted to thank OMP for the video lessons and wisdom.

The best example of playing to your strengths in golf on You Tube. Every pro from Crossfield to Shiels should show OMP as The classic example. Legendary Pat, it's a privlige mate.

How many times do you see people or try to smash the ball as far a the pros on the telly. we are all tense and wound up. Just relax and play this is key to the game OMP plays. its such a relaxed game within his own capability, there is no pressure on the shots. Great Stuff again lads.

Basically, OMP takes the pressure of himself by playing lower risk shots. This keeps him out of trouble and with a bit of luck puts him into a scoring position. Genius; we all should try this.
By the way, that driver off the deck shot was absolutely mint! What a scorcher

Thank Pat for another brilliant insight into how to make golf easier, for a man of his age he gets through the ball beautifully, he looks ( and probably is) totally relaxed as he plays every shot, the majority of us could learn much off Pat ... Thanks OMP you are an inspiration.
Unbelievable!! OMP has all the shots. Guess we could all learn from him. The one shot I use is when I am right up against a tree or another obstacle is an alternative way if you're naturally right-handed and play the game that way, is to stand with your back to the target area and grip the club just with your right hand turning your club facing backwards. I would like to see OMP play this shot if possible. Thanks Liam and OMP.
OMP is just quality!! Never panicking and always plays the right shot in every situation. How would Pat play a 60 yard bunker shot? Would love to see Pat playing other courses to see how he deals with them, keep up the great work Liam 👍🏻⛳️

I had exactly the same idea. Liam give it ago. Handicap yourself by clubs instead of shots. Only play your club that goes the same distance as his. I'd love to play him at his own game 😉.

The man the machine the legend. Pat does what we all should do, that is he never forces it plays to his strength's lesson for us there. I reckon Pat could give lessons to Handicap players. Like to see him play with mid handicappers and instruct them over a few holes how to score.
Hello from Southern Pines next door to Pinehurst. I am 80, but when I first came here I played with an older group and one was just like Pat. Watching your videos bring back some great memories. Need to start swing the clubs again😊😊
Liam, I play of 5 and I had lost some interest in the game this last few years but since finding your channel it’s reignited my interest in golf. Keep up the great work. OMP is a legend and The Dicks dancing is shocking 😂
Great vid Liam and OMP, as a high handicapper I find these golf vlogs really useful. OMP breaks it down clearly and simply and it makes proper sense. I'm sure it was you and OMP did a vid about putting off the fringe not chipping before, I've used that method ever since and my green scores have been way better . Maybe OMP and Dave should do a few Tip Friday vids together!

This is my favorite golf channel and you and OMP are just awesome! Every time I watch and listen to you and OMP I am reminded that it is the person who stays within and maximizes their limitations who stands best, not the person who hits the furthest or even the best (60 degree wedged flop shot onto the green).
If you watch and begin to think like OMP through every shot on the course, no matter where you are in your game you'll improve it by at least one stroke each time you go out, and that - round-after-round, will add up over time to a nice maintained and FUN level with where you are at; instead of a tortured round of over-reaching, duffing, thinning and spazzing out LOL.
Simply.... the best golfer on youtube...bar none.... what a lad.. great stuff OMP😉

great video. Since watching OMP i now aim for bogey golf on 10 holes; pars on 4; doubles on 4. Invariably score better than 18 over though thru a conservative approach. Thanks gents

I think OMP is very modest, he strikes the ball beautifully cleanly and consistently. Everyone can learn something from the way he plays. Nice one OMP.

Omp's tips from the top ! Years of experience in those hands. All golfers would benefit from accepting they are not going to play their best Sunday shot every shot... especially when they have hit it in trouble! Manage your expectations of what is realistic and you will see your score improve . Omp out-thinks you ...therefore out-plays you most of the time.

OMP has some short game!
No way would I be trying to land a 7 iron chip on the fringe before the green(that was sheer class btw).
I would 100% believe that feat is a harder shot for average golfers than a simple chip with a more lofted club.
OMP never lost it, class is permanent, those wee bump and runs with a 7 iron takes touch, good video as usual Liam.

There are OMP's all over the country ..I joined blatchingdon(seaford golf club) turned up played with an old guy called Ken...he was 84 still pulling his trolly played off 14...I was off 9....he gave me a lesson in course management and beat me off scratch....and it wasn't the last time ...he did it week after week......
I love the OMP's of the world ...and their love of the game....golf is the best leveler of all sports.....

I got the best par of my golf life because of this legend, 360 yard par 4 water hazzard in middle brought into play as I carry 200 bounce and roll 220-230, I played through driver easy landed a little out to right about 180 yards, Six iron went 160 to left front of green, bump n run to front of green and then held a 15 foot putt for par. If I wasn't listening to OMP I'd of hit it as hard as I could and probably dunked it in the middle water hazzard. OMP knows the score!!!

As a Middle School golf coach I always tell my athletes to kill their egos. That is the lesson from OMP, don’t let your ego control your true ability. Thank OMP and Liam! Good video on management!

OMP makes it look so easy. I'd love to see you do a monthly video where the 3 amigos complete a 3 hole challenge set down by golf mates on there home courses, like, what are the 3 hardest holes in the UK challenge.

Thank you so much for the videos Liam, I'm learning so much from it and try and apply OMP's way of playing in my game to eliminate risk. I am a 21 handicap, but has shot scores as low as a 83 already this year and that included only one birdie and 2 triple bogeys. The mentality of a bogey is okay has made a huge difference in my game, thanks to your videos and OMP.

I just finished playing a 7200 yard course using the OMP method. I’m 62 and have been playing for 2 months or so. I shot 108! I know that fellow golf mates will score lower than that. But I thought I played reasonably well. I used the OMP putt getting out of the bunker. It worked spectacularly. I holed one out of the bunker. Amazing videos!!

Would love to see a video about getting and maintaining stamina over an 18 hole. My game always gets worse the more exhausted I get? Am I swinging too hard etc. Btw I’m not sporty like, but not overweight either.

Although I am subscribed to many RUclips golf channels, I find, Liam, that I only watch you and OMP! I am a high handicapper who took up this, the greatest of games, about 10 years ago ( I am 65....how did that happen? ) and find these videos so helpful and reassuring.... Because I am weak at the physical aspects of the game ( my next 250 yd. drive will be my first 250 yd. drive...) I have concentrated on the mental aspect of it...so these videos are perfect for me! Please don't stop! And, OMP, I want to be just like you when I grow up! Thanks, Liam! And thanks OMP!
PS: I have any sport you might imagine; fencing, american football, basketball, volleyball, baseball, you name it...and nothing compares to golf. The hardest and greatest of all pastimes. Thank you again.

Simple is the hardest thing to do, doesn't overcomplicate things, plays within his ability, and that is why he just steps up, and bangs away, no pressure, just enjoyment. Go OMP👍
Great video Liam and Pat. Pat NEVER tries to kill it, just swings within himself. There are two things that I would like Pat to mention on. First, he is so consistent in playing his 3-wood. Could he hit a few and have Dave comment? Also, OMP on choosing the correct tees. At what point should one go from the forwards to the middles and then the backs? When I break 100? 90? I'd sure like to get away from the reds and maybe play the whites (one can only dream of playing the blues). Love the videos Liam...

"472yard par 4, I play as a par 5 if I do that and make my 5 I'm happy" the rest of us hitting out of our shoes getting a 6 aren't happy. Another great video Liam. I can see how much respect you have for Pat, he just loves playing golf his way .Many younger players could learn a lot from the way he plays. Also good to see him replacing his divots and raking the bunkers(many of the older members at my course don't seem to bother doing either or fixing their pitch marks on the greens)
Can you get OMP to give some tips on pitching to the greens from 50 yards inwards.this is part of my game where I struggle.
I have watched this half a dozen times and still learn something new with each watching. Course management will save you lots of strokes. Love it!

Over the last couple years I've learned to hit my driver off the deck...kinda a secret weapon for longer holes when I've chosen to lay up off the tee to stay outta trouble. COURSE MANAGEMENT FOLLKS !!!! OMP gives the best advise....accept the situation and adjust. Love the golf mates
