Hey, thanks!!! What I did not show, is that I took it out of the residential streets for the first time and on the highway for a 10-mile loop! The tires are a deal maker and also not having a few gallons of gas sloshing around in the seat next to you. 😅 We'll get started on the interior next and is panning out to be a super solid car with less than 100k original miles. Thanks for your continued interest in the channel and this series!! CP.
Thanks, James! And that's Zoe, she'll be 12 in July. Loves hanging out in the sun and loves old cars! We'll take her for a ride in the B on the next upload for ya!!
That's the plan! Our goal is to very soon take it on a trip!! Thanks for your interest! Been a fun and inexpensive project anyone could do. MGBs are still a great value. 👍
My '77 Roadster uses the same viscosity oil in the transmission as it does in the engine. The rear end requires a sulfur-free 80-90 that won't eat the brass shims. I purchased both from Moss.
Thanks!!! Good information to know. I was unsure if the trans took engine oil as the As did, or MTL and thanks for the heads up on the brass shims in the rear.
Great videos. Im looking forward to the follow on episodes. Mine is non-overdrive and i just drive it. Sonwhat if the rpm is haigher than modern cars. I still get great mpgs.
Nice work on the old MG it’s great to see it coming back to life.

One like for MG, one like for content overall and one like for the pup.
Thanks!! Been a fun project when time permits. More to come. Appreciate your interest.

Would love to see it in Katy Texas at MG2024
Heck, Yes!!! Just missed Amelia Island with it! MG2024 might just be the perfect long-distance road trip!!

Thanks, this is a non overdrive too, however I have sourced an OD transmission for it if I decide to keep it for the long term.
