Located on North Mountain near Darrington, Washington, which is an adorable little logging town nested deep in Washington's cascades North and East of Seattle, Skyline descends 1800 feet down the flanks of the mountain through lush coniferous rain forest full of deep, duffy loam.
Your reviews are really good!
Thanks! 🙂
I was shuttling they same day you were up there!!! Skyline is a sick trail and your review is pretty accurate! I miss the North Mountain
This place is high on my list of must rides. Thanks for the review.
Shuttling Skyline yesterday was amazing. The top greeted us with a touch of snow that will be melted shortly. The trail is amazing with a great mix of tech roots and drops and some flow on the clear-cut. We rode in the dumping rain yet there was still plenty of traction. I am looking forward to riding Out Of The Blue next time when the gate is open and snow gone.
I can’t wait to get up there and ride it this year!
This is easily my favorite place to ride.
Such a good trail
Seriously. So good....
Trail looks sweet man, Im diggin the intro too🤘
Trail looks awesome! How would you say it compares difficulty wise to CCDH? I rode that for the first time recently and loved it.
If you loved CCDH, you'll totally love Skyline.
@@VoiceOverTrailReviews Thanks! I found CCDH to be fun, challenging, but nothing overly hard. Most of the challenge I think was because it is consistent, nothing scary but cumulatively it adds up. I could see in the wet though, it could give a person some puckering. I'll have to hit up Skyline one of these days real soon.
who provide shuttle service?
We all shuttled each other odd man out. I’m not aware of any local shuttle service for this area.
That was my Model 3 you saw (jmahler@trailforks)! Definitely need a rig with more clearance to shuttle up this road 👍
Jeremiah Mahler That’s awesome! How’s the range with that bike rack?
@@VoiceOverTrailReviews I haven't done any scientific tests but the range doesn't seem to decrease much. My heavy foot probably has a bigger impact 🤣
Worth mentioning: the area was specifically created for e-bikes. So you don't need to shuttle if you got one.
Quite canonical 📚📚📚📚📚
Want to ride so bad.
