I have to admit, I clicked this because my first thought was "pffh, of course you can't, you have to climb to get out of the first friggin cave". Well done.
I was surprised he didn't show getting the paraglider since I thought you'd need to climb to reach the top part to get it, and now I'm curious how he even got to the top of the first tower without the paraglider and fire.
you dont need to climb the tower...
the tower rises up from beneath you when you activate it... then you can teleport to it...

Yep I forgot about that that happened for the first tower somehow. It still is amazing that he managed to beat it without climbing though as in that game it seems like it would be neccesary yet I guess it still is if you wanted to 100% the game and get all of the towers and stuff.

Here: If I accidentally start climbing, I can just drop back down and keep going.
Later: If I accidentally pause, I have to close the game and load back into the autosave :)
Daniel Maher it’s a bit different cause if he were to switch weapons on accident he would have to pause again and thus double ruining the run
Also, accidentally pausing involves actually pressing the relevant button. Accidentally climbing involves jumping a ledge that's just a little too high, and it's way harder to judge than say, accidentally pressing a button.
This was the most epic getting out of the first cave i`ve ever seen.

Ah, I remember the times, before Gamechamp's decent into insanity. Before such madness as the no pause run, the Pokemon no damage run. Back when we just took away small things, like climbing, or weapons, back when some semblance of sanity what's left in Gamechamp's psyche.

Nah dude. Rain is super easy to get around. Link falls every 3 climbs in rain. So just jump after he does three climbs and you'll still have gained more ground than you lost.

Holy shit, are you serious? That's honestly kind of hilarious. There's a whole semi-scripted interaction where you meet Sidon for the first time and the two of you work together to take out a bunch of Lizalfos as you make your way to Zora's Domain.
The perpetual rain caused by the divine beast makes this path the easiest route by far. I imagine that the only reason the developers felt comfortable spending so much time making that part of the game so densely packed and tightly scripted was because they assumed nobody would try to climb the mountains surrounding Zora's Domain.

I neglected watching this video for months because I just assumed there was no way to pass the wall of the first cave and I didn't want to waste my time. I am glad now that my procrastination drive finally made me click, I hadn't laughed so hard in weeks.
Angela Schuster yeah I thought it was clickbait too, then one day I decided to test it just to check. I was actually able to get up with the barrels on the first try, though I had trouble reproducing it.
He also made a Mario Odyssey video on no jumping...
It's just as mindblowing and I'd recommend you watch it.

Imagine a player just started on BoTW, didn’t know that Link could climb walls, so the player actually pushed wooden boxes until Link could jump up and later, discovering “climbing” exists

I brought the rock roast to
Impa, Kaneli, Dorephan, Riju, Selmie, Deku Tree, Ganon, Eventide Island, Flowerblight, and Shrine of Resurrection
The Shrine of Ressurection was the hardest challenge because I threw a few ideas at it and each idea would take hours to even attempt.
I am proud to say, that I was able to complete my own challenge, but it was heavily inspired by your Mario and Zelda challenges that you would put on yourself.
So, thanks a bunch!

HOW TO BEAT BOTW WITHOUT CLIMBING:
Step 1:Get Revali's gale

Reaper cat god his gale is op. Game becomes cake after getting it.
@@clark2501 im pretty maxed out on everything. Even before that it was my 3rd beast. I only use it to climb reallllllyyy high cliffs. But yes if it is your first beast...easy the rest of the game.
Aaron mann it definitely was and I do not regret it. In subsequent playthroughs I’m always doing his divine beast first.
@@clark2501 I'm like 120hr into my first run. Haven't started master mode or anything yet.
Aaron mann I was like 15 hours into normal mode and I wanted a little more challenge so I started on master mode. Probably 30-40 hours in so far. Maybe like 1/3 of the way through the game.

I actually got up with just the barrels. First try too. Box stack didn't work out for me, and I didn't try too hard because I thought the box would get stuck halfway up the stairs anyways

You could've climbed up to ledges later on in the mission which have metal objects you can use magnesis on and swing them into the guardian drones killing them instantly
I'm going to admit I didn't realize you could truly use 100% stealth. You can't always see all the hiding spots from above the path while taking down your enemies. I'm going to go try that now.
it's one of the worst sections in the game. disgusting color palette, escort mission with stupid character, impossible to remember level design. I procrastinated as round a week before going to that lizard colossus.
God that barrel part and boxes was hilarious, and wait, after watching the whole thing, you seriously did complete BotW without climbing? I'm sad now...

I know this is a few years old, but if you drop a metal weapon in one of the steps of a tower, lightning will hit it. Can go up towers that way too.
