This is so crazy bc I used sandpaper on my new pans and I still had issues im just gonna take it to creek and fill and dump rocks for a few hours but that info is so important bc water won't even touch pan unless you scratch it up

Yes you can pan Contrary and even dredge it. As long as you enter the water at the public access.
