I recommend buying both expansions of Seasons especially for the new cards

Thanks for bringing these two games!
I do agree with you on Evergreen, I don't quite enjoy when games turn to be a math exercise. Scoring also takes a touch too long.
I've had a different experience with Seasons though.
There is way more card variety and interaction here than VoE... And those chunky dice are a treat tbh 😆
Vale of eternity has a good depth and the resource management is really clever, but I haven't felt the need to go back to it after a few plays personally. Being streamlined is a good thing but not always equal to more fun. However, I see your point and yes it is an easier game to table :)

I strongly think that playing VoE first had an impact. I may have leaned towards Seasons if it was the other way round!

Am I ready to have you talk about my favorite game of all time? Seasons is my first advanced game and I stll hold it to my heart. 🙂
So let's see what you have to say about it... and if you are wrong😂😂

My issue with Evergreen was the player board. The bits in their constantly tipping over at the slightest touch.

I'm holding off on purchasing VoE as some reviews suggest that a few cards in the deck seem to be overpowered. That would be a shame as I like such streamlined card drafting games - what are your thoughts?

I'm sure they are, but it's the kind of game where you can't get everything you want played anyway because you run out of money. I've never once thought that the game needed tweaking at all.
