He's super thorough on the process on the DVD. Takes a lot of time to point out dovetail process, sawing technique, and wood arrangement to start out. I'm really very pleased so far
***** I think the price is OK for the quality, but anyway... you can get them from the official lie-nielsen front page. They've got a rotating banner ad for them.
***** That's mean-spirited. You sound like you're threatening a company with piracy just because you can't get their video in a format that suits your viewing tastes. Why would any company care what such customers think?

@@squamishscepter Glues were not poor. They just were not waterproof. The Germanic tradition and dutch was to dowel the tails after joining. Watching Chris and listening to him speak lowers my stress levels by 98% LN thanks for making the dvd available, I have it and I love it!

Love the fact you use hand tools.im not a wood worker but your video was mentioned on a channel I watch daily. Nice box.
I have watched this a few times now! I am designing one of my own! Thank you.
According to the shape one could easily transform this plan to a lecturing podium. Thanks - wonderfully practical ideas you're distributing!
Very nice box Chris! Thank you so much.
Only saw the 5 minute version. Very impressed.
Looks great, I'll have to buy a copy.
Nice video Chris, where can I find the dovetail guide you use here?
Thank you Christopher!
The secret to good dovetails? Nibble and Blow, my friend. Nibble and Blow.
Thank you Chris
The nail set you used to set the decorative nails where did you get that or that antique piece thanks
Is there a more modern version that's available online instead of via shipped DVD sets?
Where did you get the neat nail set
"So i just nibble and blow...." lol
That’s what she said.
More! More! More!
Was that a Lie-Nielsen panel saw?
For those interested: 2 DVD set, $40, 185 minutes. (Would be nice if a version were available on iTunes or other digital systems.)

Definitely only 1 DVD btw. All the contents are included on it though. Think the 2 DVD is a typo

Lie-Nielsen Toolworks
Man, I could really use that tool chest, the taller 3-section one on casters. I have run out of tool storage space. No wall space left anywhere! :(
Why the nails in the bottom dovetails????
First you make all this wonderful dovetails an then you use nails? I can't believe that.
Stephan Pöhnlein The nails are traditional. In the old days the glues were very poor, so cleats were added to keep the dovetails tight

I dont see the point in taking the time to cut all the dovetails, then hammer nails through them!
I did it myself thanks to Woodprix.
Thank you Chris.
