Amazing song 🎶
Who gave this man that much swag

Not only is he able to wear a full grown bear on his back but he sports a scarf as well 😂😂 and to top it all off he’s a good looking fucker who can sing 🤦🏻♂️
God Almighty!!! Swagalicious indeed!!! 🔥🔥🔥
This day, Daryl Hall was the flyest dude on the planet!
True indeed 😎
Yes indeed. Supah fly
Daryl’s outfit ate so hard
It was cool for the time . . .
@@lindsman682. Goes hard like prime d Rose
Hall looks like Huggy Bear about to hustle someone (I watched a lot of Starsky & Hutch as a kid)
😂 fact
My goal in life is to become as cool as Daryl Hall in this video
Oh Caroline, what are you talking about, you are already there, and then some 🥰
🔥
I love how his outfit TRIGGERS everyone.
What do you mean exactly?
My dad had a coat bought from a ex. Same mink coat material 900 dollars in 1978
That outfit tho
I know, right?
I know rocking that soul blaxploitation look from which they drew their musical inspiration xx
@@martinwedge7732 you better not be 'that guy'
@@evanmiller9316 he’s right though.
Seriously 😳
This is such a great song, one of my favourite 1970s tracks of all time. H&O are absolutely timeless.
Oh yea, especially their early music from the 70's and early 80's, excellent music, Rich Girl, Sarah Smile, She's Gone, You Make My Dreams Come True.
But like The Cars, Journey, Van Halen and these guys just to name a few it seems like when MTV got their hands on them their music went downhill.
@@dukecraig2402 1984 by van Halen was a great album and so was heartbeat city by the cars
I love it, too 😍 A real earworm 👂🪱😂😂
The 70s were a bandwidth beyond what we will ever see again.
Shout out to the lead singer... the force is strong in him
Daryl Hall definitely trained in the Jedi arts with that outfit
He definitely has Kylo Ren's hairstyle here 😃
@@godphoenix66xnah kylo had bros hair style
that's the way we rolled back in the 70's and 80's
Obi-wan 😂
He might be 100% sober but that fur + shades + bang is giving coked out and glad about it 😂😂😂😎
This might be one of the best comments of all time 😂😂😂
The original swag. Just oozes out!
Love it and what a classic...
Timeless song, this song has been on every portable device that I have owned. From boomboxes to Walkman to cell phones and IPods touch to my RUclips music playlist. And like the sunglasses flip at the end, made me smile.
🤣. Hot in space, I get ya.
You just kinda gave your age up tho 😂
Sweet!
The clothes of the 60’s and 70’s have been in the back of our parents cupboards.
Time to get them out and head down town for a ‘one way ticket’. 😜😏😎
Greatest duo ever....great voice...never got the credit they deserved...
I agree they were/are great, but they were hardly unnoticed; I can remember when you almost couldn't listen to a pop music station for an hour without hearing one of their songs.
I remember they were pretty popular in the early eighties.
I thought they did, for a very brief time. Very brief. Nobody gave them any credit for what they did, how they filled a certain corner of the music world
Bro you dumb? They are the most popular and celebrated group of the 80s. They made millions and won grammies..
??? They were MTV staples 😕
43 year old just find this song❤
When you type in the word “Aura” this clip instantly plays.
Ahahaha! 😂
True!
Ahahaha 😂
True!
Daryl had the best hair and John had the best mustache🔥
Daryl had cool sideburns as well, not here, but in the '80's.
Now they both have beards and goatee s
😀
John had great hair too! ❤️
Pornstache
Bruh the outfit is just straight clean 🔥
I just can't get over the Aspen Chic attire❤️❤️❤️
This is my first time seeing this video. I'm smitten with that outfit
This whole thing puts the biggest smile on my face from the outfit to the nostalgic sound. 🤣
The thing that I love about the video is that you can tell these dudes are young. Fur coats, designer shades. But yet, so soulful.
One of the hardest hooks of all time
I roller skated to this music in the 70s. The best of times.
With that Furcoat,Porshe sunglasses + Farrah hair Darryl sure looks like a 70's rich girl😁
Haha oh! He’s trying to look like her???
@@lidyasworld3130yeah I think the outfit is meant to be satirical
I'm wearing this outfit to the office on Monday. I dont care if its middle of summer.
Original gangster....this is how music should be
Agreed.
That guitar rift that dropped with the bass- genius!
👍👌
Riff
This was always my favorite Hall & Oates song!
Good pick. Mine was She's Gone and then Out of Touch.
Classic
@@sylvialawrence4431 She's Gone is sooooooooo good.
it's so short
Pimpin' aint easy
That's ten otters killed for the mink coat
Haaa, got it👍
Otters????
Hoping and praying it was an original:
Donna Salyers faux fur🙏🏼.
Looks, feels like the real thing, not ONE animal hurt or killed. 👍👍👍
HUGE thing in Hollyweird back then.
SHE was the boss!
I hope it was a Donna fur!❤️❤️❤️
Didn’t think anyone other than Mick could pull off such an outfit but Darryl does. My compliments...
Brian Jones more than Mick.
This has been living rent free in my head for days and I love it. But all I can see is hockey hair and pit vipers 🤣 seems like times of fashion really are coming full circle for guys and girls. Love it. 🤣🤣 also song is a bop, who can listen to this and NOT sing along!?
Luxury in all aspects the wink was golden. Hands down one of my favorite songs and performances of all time .
I agree
But this look is everything!
Oh lort....love that outfit Darryl!!
Respect and love the artists and era when people had their own personal swag, not "following" or being heavily "influenced" by another..
Darryl “The Hitman” Hall
Because of those futuristic shades.
Off that pure and uncut!
HIGH AND DRYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY out of the raaaaaaaaaiiiiiiiiiiiiin
0:06 That short smirk on his face is golden
I was born on January 1977. love these guys
WOW!!
I was born a little over a year before you (November '75), and I am an old soul. I grew up with a healthy obsession with the music of the 1960s and 1970s. Such a great era for music.
Brings back memories of my childhood... my parents used to play this when I was a kid!😊
I 💕 Daryl!! THAT'S IT HIS VOICE BLOWS ME AWAY!!
Brilliant song, brilliant vocals, but shocking attire!, but it was the mid 70s i suppose.😀
Oh yes absolutely amazing voice love it❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
yassss....i love this!!! (song)
that fur coat and glasses
This song is 2:20 long and is almost all chorus. I love it
I think it was only cut down to that size as part of the show that they played it on.
@@HHSGDFootballJPD That's the length of the studio cut as well, a mastercourse in brevity
@Patricio Fernandez Realized that about 2 minutes after positing it; should've done my research.
Thank you for posting it.@@HHSGDFootballJPD
God i grew up on this band and especially this song
Someone once said 'Rich Girl' is the greatest pop song ever recorded.....I cannot argue.
One of the best singers ever
Fucking fact
I love watches Daryl in this look over and over !!!
He looks terrific with that sunglasses !!!
His voice is so electrifying !!!
The shine in his glasses...
give me those glasses 👏👏👏
Me too!
Daryl looks like a model n is going to a winter retreat in that luxe outfit. His shades making him mysterious but hiding his beautiful sexy blue eyes. What smooth soulful voices he n John. Great duo.
Back when men could sing.
Miss those times.
Didn't think I would miss them so much.
Great song.
These guys always make ones day ❤
One of the perfect pop songs
these guys really defined both the 70s and 80s! legends with each album they produced.
His younger soul voice is almost the definitive Philly sound on the radio.
@@edm5378was that their preferred genre before the industry discovered them and threw bubblegum rock at them if they wanted to make it?
Love these guys. The greatest band in history
He knew this was a Junt, he already had the mink ready 🔥🔥🔥 This junt bumpin Mayne
I’m so obsessed with this!
Good taste the song is absolutely amazing in every possible the lyrics and the voice oh man ❤
Those shades are HUGE! 😎
And what about the coat? Can you tell me the size of it?
That guitar coming in was, music greatness, we don't have that in music anymore.
Daryl Hall and John Oates = great music
'70s fashion = great laughs 🤣
58yo here. Most of my public school years were in the '70s.
This has got to be one of my favorite songs of H&O!!
BEST VOICE EVER IMO
Hall and Coats
that outfit is just sic, love the 70s!
This song is everything 🙌
Flashes of that SMILE 😊
One of their best songs
I like their friendship necklaces!
Young gravy of his time
Oh wow I’m in love with this man absolutely mesmorizing love your cloths love your hair wow
Love the song, but those sunglasses! Thought daryl was better than that, but it was the 70s i suppose.
I know this is not really a Gospel song but I could so easily sing this song at a Catholic Holy Mass and sing it prophetically to the church (whom I love) asking how 'the bride of Christ ever became so wealthy". I would also be singing it to myself for "you can not love both God and money"
Um wow
@@lidyasworld3130 I know - I think strange thoughts. In the words of Brett Dennon "I don't know why I say the things that I say - but I say them anyway "
@@alexleitch37 I want to be your friend 😂

I LOVEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE THIS
I remember listening to this song while working multiple jobs so I could go to Australia, and then hit America and Europe so I never had time to find out who the singers were. Imagine my surprise after many decades to find out it's Hall and Oates. The singer was certainly trying to impress with those Elvis sunglasses and fur coat, the guitarist is the cute one😊
High and dry.. out of the
Rain
It's so easy
To hurt others when you can't feel painful 💗
Amazing song, has so much vibe in it.The intro is so catchy and emotional
Mmmm that recording & mix. ‘Hall’ the recording engeneer!
The way they are so neat looking and the music is so soothing.this had to be one of the most dangerous eras of music in all time.thanks guys for such art.
the drip is crazyyy, so fire
Hearing this song 1st time ever. I remember LL Cool J used this for one of his tracks.
Is it me or at 0:28 the reflection of the lights on his glasses are doing some crazy moves?
They are sky high & I love it
I can’t unsee Will Farrell. I don’t know why
Loved this duo! One of my all-time favorites.
It’s something bout this song that makes u wanna go to a roller rink or take a nice drive nd I jus love his shades🤟🏾🤟🏾
Like the quick sunglass flip
I love this song❤️
I love me some Hall & Oats. I love it more that Daryl is dressed like a rich girl in his fur and fresh salon bouncy hair.
Men were peacocks in the 70's --- lots of showy clothes and big feathered hair
Macklemore & Inigo Montoya
The best version....
Was a great song to dance to in it's day. What memories!
talence and talent
I could say alot about this song and performance....But I won't....Except.....COOOOOL!!!
not sure what is better, the song or the fit, both are super tough
When a Banger goes this hard your outfit must as well
The jam those glasses tho😎👍
Such a banger!!
