  • Hello guys! Do you want another V6 engine!? Here it is! Remember that I have a list of videos a little further down here in the description for 164 and 166 as various types of V6, if you want to take a look. In this video I wanted to be as complete as possible without repeating too much other areas and videos already made. These videos are below in the description, a little further down.

    You are well done. Changing an engine in such conditions is very difficult, but you did it. It will be interesting to see the analysis of the engine after the timing belt breaks.

      Hello, thanks for watching! I believe the other engine blew out the belt because of a bad tensioner. A croken one, then it rubbed on the dust guards.
      The customer didn't want to go any further.
      Next month a video for the troubleshooting and repair of the symptoms at the end of this video.

    Hey Bruno, what are the yearly road taxes in Portugal for such old vehicles? Is it really true people need to pay even up to 1000 euro for an old diesel car? In Poland we don't have that tax yet, but EU wanted to force us to introduce it as one of the milestones and targets of the recovery and resilience plan. Fortunately that milestone was abandoned by now, after the new government renegociated it with the european commission. But I'm afraid it is just postponed and in few years they will come back with that tax. If they have me pay 500-1000 euro yearly for a 15-20 year old car, then I will probably never more afford to have one at all :(

    • @alfaromeonoproblem
      @alfaromeonoproblem  3 месяца назад +2

      Hello. Until 2007 normal cars pay around 50 euros a year. This one around 150.
      After 2007 the average is 300 a year for a normal car. The more co2 it produces, the more we pay.
      A few months ago they wanted to pass a law to basically and a zero to the tax. Forcing people to buy new electric cars.

      @@alfaromeonoproblem I hope and pray something changes about all that environmental madness after the EU elections. I just hope that national governments stop ripping us off, if they see that the EU hopefully eases on the ecological stuff. Eventually it's not that people keep using old cars because they hate the Earth and want to destroy it. It's just because they cannot afford a brand new vehicle or a newer used one, and at the same time they have to get here and there somehow. It's like punishing people just for not being rich enough. That's how I feel about it.
