Knocked Loose lead guitarist and backing vocalist Isaac Hale gave us a behind-the-scenes look at the rig that powers his crushing riffs! What’s in your guitar rig? Let us know in the comments, and watch more artist rig tours here 👉 ruclips.net/p/PLlczpwSXEOyYmDKuXqhFP9TjXg5Dgaw2u
I think just because he is using a Kemper is probably out of necessity. Once your gear becomes to much and cumbersome you have to start thinking about all that extra weight and size where are you going to put all of it.
Got to admit since the breakthrough of the modelling amps and what not all these Rig tours and rundowns have become a bit... stale. The guitar parts are fun as every but the amp parts you can just skip cause it's the same stuff for everyone. I do get it's reliable and solid gear and would use one myself if I ever went back doing shows, but for a person who's into all music gear you can just 100% skip all amp parts for a lot of videos.
i think they should start meeting players in the studio rather than on the road. in a slow and controlled environment guitar players are still going to want to use the real thing. and much more weird and diverse set ups get used in the studio.
This was a super cool video until he showed his kemper. Theres almost no point to a rig rundown when its just a couple guitars and a lunchbox. I wanna see amps and cabs and elaborate pedalboards. Wish he would have had the pedalboard he was talking about that got too big. That would have been neat-o.
@@LeftHandedRightHanded yeah but let's not take away from the fact the kemper is a powerful tool. Its just not cool enough to be a rig worth showing off.
It’s all about dollars and cents at the end of the day. These kempers can be flown for cheap, and are very durable. Or he can get one locally when they go overseas and it will sound the exact same as the one he uses at home. Not the case at all with tube amps. One day the power is 110 the next it’s 105.. tube amps get all pissy. I wish everyone was running real amps too but it is what it is.
“I use modelers because I had a massive pedal board of 37 redundant pedals and tube amps didn’t make sense.” Sounds like you have too many pedals and it’s not an amp problem lol. When I think of knocked loose I don’t think of effects. Don’t know why he went on that tangent but ok lol
i’ve been running a rig pretty similar to what he was using prior…you’d be surprised how fast pedals can stack up when you’re playing that kind of stuff. for the most part each pedal provides a somewhat minor difference in sound, helps to make the music feel more dynamic overall when you have all those little variations you can blend together vs say jumping back and forth between just 2 rather distinct tones

Good job sweetwater keep doing rig rundowns for more modern metal/hardcore bands
Knocked Loose is awesome!
What a band!!🙌🎸🤟

I've got an Ibanez Prestige 7 string and you can't go wrong with that brand.
IF THEY ARE USING MODELERS GO INTO WHAT CAPTURES/MODELS THEY USE AND SIGNAL CHAINS
Get Will Putney's new 20 x 10 Tonehub pack and I'm sure you will find it
@@srfokay Sounds nothing like his actual tones
That's when you know you have good gear, when your still using old TECHNOLOGY years after release!!!
During Bonnaroo 2023 they were using Quad Cortex. Wonder if they were testing them out or are officially using them now for tours?
Probably still with the kemper. Quad cortex has reliability issues.
That's a bit odd, considering there's a Rig Rundown from 4 months ago showing them touring with the Neural DSP Quad Cortex.
Desaparecidos playing in the background :)
Deathcore bands: *chug chug chug*
Knocked Loose: *C H U G* (wait one minute) *S L O W E R C H U G*
Post hardcore for ya
Take a drink every time he says uhh
Whelp, im hammered now
Im not trying to get alcohol poisoning
whelp, i’m hammered now
or every time he says "really really"
Streamed line and efficient, but old heads will tell you it’s boring bc he’s not touring with 25 guitars and a million pedals
what amps tho
Can i get the kemper profiles?

@@justjacobmartinI second this
rig rundown without amps or pedals. Just felt like a Kemper ad

Yeah. It's such a waste of time to watch them say "I use the same boring gear as everyone"
