    This was great. Most people will never drive one of these this hard but glad to see how the performance is if you really need to floor it.

      Was wondering why it never came with when it debuted for the North American market.
      The Japanese market had it from the start.

    These are really nice cars.
    I did not think so when I first saw one.
    However, I had one for a Loaner when I had my 2022 RAV4 Hybrid in for Mud Guards and Protection Packages.
    I was quite impressed with it. I really liked the 'Lexus-Like' Memory Seats, Tilt, and Mirrors working together.
    The Mirrors also Power Fold which to me is a nice touch.
    What I did not care for was the LACK of Dials/Knobs on the Radio and the HVAC system.
    That is one thing I really enjoy about my RAV4 is the Rubbery Controls. (Dials/Knobs)
    The Venza Limited with all the option packages is not that much more then a RAV4 Hybrid Limited.

    Can you start rolling the windows up and down? It's such a small thing, but it's something I always check. Some cars are whisper quiet and have a soft close, while others have obnoxiously loud motors

    Any chance of a night ride for this model ? Really curious to see if those fog lights actually benefit the road visibility. I feel like the positioning is very narrow.

    That cup holder placement behind the gear shifter is a no go for me. It would be awkward trying to shift if ya had double gulps in em.

    I am seriously considering one, looked at the new Highlander, rav4 and even the corrola cross hybrid and this is by far the best of all worlds. Looks like a Lexus without the Lexus price tag

      I have done a test drive. Way louder than advertised. My 2015. Honda crosstour is way quieter than this. So much engine noise getting into the cabin

  • @yellofury
    @yellofury 2 года назад +5

    honestly Toyota marketed this Harrier/Venza/RX at the wrong time. The RAV4 hybrid/PRIME and the Highlander Hybrid makes the consumer think why should I pay $$$ for something that isnt that much bigger than the RAV and not as big as a three row Highlander with so-so hybrid mpg? I dont see many Venzas here in FL and I see a short lifespan on the market

    • @Lucky8s
      @Lucky8s 2 года назад +4

      Though I haven't driven one, I hear it's more luxurious than a RAV4, more Lexus, and that's something I would be interested in for my parents. Something in-between would be nice as Lexus really bumped up the price with the new NX. Our 2020 RAV4 is a bit noisy on the highway, engine is just fine even though reviewers constantly complain about it.

      The Toyota Venza might not seem very practical compared to the RAV4 but you get more head room, nicer materials inside and a quieter interior. I'd point out the Venza has 8 more cubic feet of cargo space with the seats folded down than the Lexus NX. The Venza isn't all that bad for the price.

      I have the 2021 Venza XLE W/JBL and Softex upgrades and I love it. This car is more luxurious than RAV4 in many ways yet has a dash of sporty. When I park next to a Lexus, it's seriously hard to tell the difference if you aren't looking at grills and the inside is similar in some ways also. This car is actually quite large when sitting next to older toyota Siennas and other crossover models in the market and it drives like a dream. Even my Teen sons love this car...lol.

      One is utility and the other is Luxury. I test drove both and the Venza was for me. It’s just a nice smooth luxurious drive, the Rav is not rough at all but basic.

    I have a question. Do they have Toyota venza NO hybrid OR all toyota Venza are always Hybrid ?

    • @southernfarmtech
      @southernfarmtech 7 месяцев назад +1

      All Venzas are hybrid. Toyota is beginning to shift toward all models having hybrid as the only option. The first ICE to do it is the Camry....hybrid will be the only option starting in 2025.

    What's the difference between this and cross?

    • @Lucky8s
      @Lucky8s 2 года назад

      The Corolla Cross is a smaller offering, this sits between the RAV4 and Highlander. Interior dimensions are the same as a RAV4, but cargo space is smaller due to the sloping roof. It's supposed to be more comfortable and luxurious than a RAV4. Powertrain vs Cross is also better. A 2.5L Atkinson cycle inline-4 + electric motors for AWD giving you 219 HP and around 37 mpg combined.

    First of all you drive like a maniac. Second, there is a lot of road noise and the engine is vey loud during acceleration which leads me to believe the Venza lacks sound dampening insulation. Spend a little more money and get the Lexus NX300.
