“Inspiring” was the exact word that came to mind as I watched and listened to you playing during this review. The inspiration was clearly flowing through your whole being, transporting you and your playing to a vey lovely place. The settings you have used are relatively subtle, but provided such a lovely platform for you 😊I shall def check this pedal out - It’ll mean selling some other stuff to pay for it, but I suspect I’ll love it! Cheers, Ian 🎸
That was fantastic, mate. Very atmospheric. I could use that pedal as I like to (try and) create some Celtic vibes on the old plank. Excellent stuff, EJK. Tasteful.
This was a very beautiful video, Elmo. I think I could sense how your goodwill towards your former students blended with your gratitude towards the Strymon pedal. There’s such sweetness in the song at the end, an obviously self-subduing piece given what you’re capable of technically. Anyway I really liked it and felt you were demonstrating that, when all the gear and guitar exercises have been talked about, what remains is the power of music. Brilliant.
I often can't wait to get home from work so I can view Elmo's latest . Awesome playing as usual . Imagination and inspiration , tick . I'll always watch his vids
Thanks Elmo for changed my day with such a beautiful melody at the end. i bought the Blue Sky and the Riverside because of your videos and they are phenomenal both. Very inspiring gear...i use them every day of my life...maybe this new one is still better or in another league...but somehow Strymon leave us always in a dreamy cloud...
Superb heartfelt review and playing. I agree that it is a truly inspirational pedal and will be adding one to my pedal board as soon as I can afford to do so. Thank you for making me aware of this beautiful pedal.
Love the Holy Grail t-shirt! "Help! I'm being repressed!" 😂 Pedal sounds great, and the song sounds gorgeous. Has a bit of the "The Princess Bride" - Mark Knopfler vibe. Many thanks for the video.
I have one of these myself, its incredible. Just the standard verb alone is so nice but once you start messing with it you find some amazing ambient effects. I'd agree, its very inspirational.
Thank you for that beautiful arrangement and execution, Elmo.. the pedal's amazing, but like all amazing musical accessories, if you hadn't poured your heart and soul into that performance to make it sing, it would just be a piece of metal with circuits. You're playing takes top billing on this one, man.. 100% 😊
The first guitar pedal I've bought in 30 years - if you're a guitarist with any interest in reverb, it's simply a not-optional piece of equipment. It's this good even without stereo or forte mode (and forte mode sounds better yet if you put another large reverb after it to "smear out" the synth aspect.) Some proper weekend shred and downtuning here, keep that up 🎸👍
8:52 Nice atmosphere to the sound, and choice of notes being played. Could easily be used in a modern movie as a part of the sound track. Expensive pedal but well worth it.
Wonderful. Now and then one will need that dream sound or movie sound adding that extra feel. and as for know i wanna weep some bitter sweet tears...oh my love wonder where you are...missing you...yes I do.
In your song I could hear the heartbreak from having to leave your students. I guarantee that you have given them gifts that will last for their lifetimes, and you should hold your head high. Also, great pedal, but about $300 out of my budget. Who am I kidding? I don’t have a gear budget.
I have been trying to find the right ambient delay/reverb unit and have not found quite what I want and have been thinking about trying the Cloudburst out. Thank you!

I know that sensation and I bend over the guitar too when I'm in love with the sound I play.
Are they NUTS not renewing your contract!
Their loss is definitely someone else's gain Elmo!
Great pedal and song brother.☝️💯☝️💥
Thank you!
Now that was a great way to start the day. “Goodbye, But Not Farewell” is a lovely and heartfelt expression. Thank you.
And thank you! 😊

Glad you liked it 😊
It has a hint of shimmer. The jhs hall reverb is my favourite and only reverb but this is on my hit list if I win the lottery.
YOU WERE SWEPT UP BY THE INSPIRATION FOR SURE AND IT IS BEAUTIFUL TO HEAR
Cheers 😊
Most excellent Elmo. I am inspired. Thank you. Is that a tear in my eye oh crap.
Thank you!
Exceptionaly melodic playing today Elmo ,
Quite awesome
Thanks 😊

I’m got one of these and it sounded great with the Strymon El Cap !
Stunning.
You can really nail that Vangelis sound too.
The ambience the pedal creates is very inspiring and seems to encourage free-flowing improvisation.🤘😎🎸
Spot on.
Loved the original music too!
Beautiful! Nice one Elmo!
Glad you like it!
Feel the indefatigable fury of Elmo Karjalainen!
😀

My pleasure!

Great video and that shirt is awesome
Thanks!
Good Music - Thanks for sharing that.
Glad you like it!
Terrific song which is in turn about as good a demo of a peddle I have ever seen.
Thanks!
Nice. Thanks Elmo🤘🏼
No problem 👍
Amazing "song"!
Thanks!
It almost sounds like you have a verrry light string section accompaniment! Is that just me? It's fascinating!
It does a bit yeah.
Wow...that was beautiful!

That sounded fantastic 👏
👍👏 Very cool, great playing. 🙂
Glad you like it 👍
Those idiots at that school have no idea the treasure they tossed away...
Very nice!
Thanks!
It's as if they took a piece of Devin Townsend's brain and put it in an FX pedal.
👏👏👏👏👏
Прекрасно!!! Спасибо!!!
Considering how into it you get when just using mono, I'd suggest not trying stereo. You might not find your way back 🤣
🤣
What is happening in the background? Does it add chord harmony of sorts?
Reverb and shimmer.
@@MrPolevaulter it sounds like something more sophisticated is happening in the circuitry. It really is an amazing and inspiring pedal.
Elmo you cut your neck head?
Cut my what?
