CassieAfricanQueen Yes, same here. I notice when stopped trying to focus on ingredients and more on finding great products, my hair thrived and is healthy.
Now I have tried some of the best all natural hair products with strictly natural ingredients. Paid a lot of money for products that weren't right for me. Anyway, I think people need to find what works for them. With the end goal of hair healthy hair. This is even if your relaxed.
Some people treat curl hair like a cult with a lot of senseless rules that the push off on others. Aussie has great products that work for my hair, meanwhile I haven't for any Shea moisturizer products that have. Why, because people's hair is different. Also, people can have whatever preference they want when it comes to things like hair. You can search RUclips and find many ladies with healthy long hair. So use all natural and some don't...people are different.

Aussies conditioners has silicones in them which gives it a lot of slip but the thing with them is you need a sulfate shampoo to wash it out, which is why a lot of naturals avoid silicones altogether but yeah if you’re using that conditioner often you’ll eventually need a sulfate shampoo to get rid of all the build up.

Unicorn, your hair looks great. I'm thinking the shampoo is needed to get curls cream product complete out. Awesome review, I may or may not try this not sure my low porosity hair will like it. But, I may try it on my daughter's hair.

Curious, how do you remove the silicone buildup if you don't use sulfate shampoo? All the conditioning products have silicone.
Shampoos with the ingredient coco betaine actually does a great job at removing the buildup!

Girl what the hell kind of hair 😱😭 that shrinkage confused TF out of me!! I rewinded three times just to make sure I wasn’t tripping! You just went from armpit length to all the way down your back just by wetting it AND you still had curly hair when wet!!! A lot of girls who’s hair drops like that when wet, have a pattern that waves or straightens when wet...... I’m so astounded 😂 I wish my hair was like that! Even at the end your hair shrunk up it didn’t even look like the same curl! Ugh, so pretty!! 🦄

Do you end up having to clarify with a sulfate shampoo when you use products with cones in them?
My Shea Moisture JBCO shampoo or my Deva curl low poo usually does a good job with getting the silicone out of my hair and both of them are sulfate free 😊

Lydia Tefera can you do a review on the Garnier fructis 1 minute moisture mask. You can use it as a deep conditioner, a rinse out conditioner or a leave in.

ur hair looks great! it'd probably feel great to you if you used their matching leave in milk from this same line, cuz when i read it it said it provides nourishment and moisture. i'm interested in trying the leave in with the curl pudding because i love the shine and definition it gave you. thanks for sharing! new subbie!

I have low porosity hair and I think the deep conditioner and and co wash was good but I don’t think the creme pudding was all that great

I'm pretty sure they added to sulfate to the shampoo because of the silicone in the styling product. Thanks for the review I loved it but I probably won't be trying this product because of the silicone and sulfates. And congratulations on hitting 10K girl!! You deserve it. Your awesome. #unicorn

🦄 (3c,fine, low porosity)I like the line the key to the gel and the leave in is your hair has to be soaked .. you can’t add it to damp hair you have to spray every section... it works well with the 10&1 super fruit DC from Shea moisture (as a leave in).🙂 good video!

what do you use to cleanse your hair from the silicones you use in your hair ( such as tgin mask)? :) Only sulfate free shampoos?
Typically if I use my shea moisture JBCO shampoo or my deva curl low poo and then I’m good :)
I use a sulfate shampoo once a month, only because i heard its the only thing that can really wash the silicones out the hair.
Try using the Shea Moisture African Water mint shampoo (another favorite of mine) it has cocamidopropyl betaine that can remove silicones from your hair! I’ve been using it for the past 2 months and I really like it. You can always check for other sulfate free shampoos that contain cocamidopropyl betaine and I’m just those will get rid of the silicones too. (The Deva curl low poo contains that ingredient as well)
I have the kinky curly knot today shampoo which contains that. Ill try that! Thanks!

Sulfates are great to clarify your scalp every once in a while. I clarify my hair once a month.

It smells a little different to me. Kinda like strawberries and cream!
The deep conditioner smells the same. I haven't tried the shampoo or conditioner, but the pudding smells different. I didn't like the pudding.
