    Hold on. Forgive me as im still learning. Its legitimately my first day learning about barometric pressures to this extent. But is absolute just what the same exerted pressure would be where you are if you were sea level and relative is what it would be relative to your actual elevation, location, etc? It sounds like it and seems like thats an easy way to put it. Am i wrong?
    Meteorology is hard lol

      Considering both the pressure below atmospheric pressure ....absolute pressure and vaccume pressure are relative as....more the absolute pressure lesser the vaccume pressure...till the absolute pressure becomes equal with atmospheric pressure...here vaccume pressure will be zero

    Atmosperic pressure is measured by barometer which is instruments .Why you aren't saying it as guage pressure

      Positive pressure is a pressure greater than the atmospheric or sealine pressure. Negative pressure is the pressure less than atmospheric pressure (Vacuum pressure)

    This is driving me up the wall lol...
    I got a vacuum pump and it says:
    Limited pressure (Pa) - 5Pa
    I asked the people who make it what that is in inches of mercury and they said:
    The vacuum capacity of our pump is 5pa, which is 0.0014765029 inches of mercury (32 degrees Fahrenheit) if converted in units
    But my manifold gauges go UP in number with HIGHER vacuum. 30 inHg is full vacuum.
    0.0014 inHg on these gauges is virtually NO VACUUM at all...
    What on earth is going on, and why do they have to make it so horridly complicated?..
    It's like people are using the term inches of mercury for 2 VERY different and OPPOSITE scales?...
