I'll tell you what I'm seeing flatbed loads for a dollar a mile I don't even want to know what Dry van looks like....... The only thing I can think is brokers are coming up short with their customers on other segments and using extremely low flatbed rates to fill in the gaps for profit....
Think about a shippers’ perspective. Would they rather wait for 20 carriers to possibly call and possibly move a load, or call their broker and have the broker get access to 100 carriers to move their freight. Simple answer. Im sorry you don’t understand supply chain economics and logistics
@@UrbanYeti13 SIMPLE ANSWER IS WE TRUCK DRIVERS STOP MOVING FREIGHT AND THE WHOLE INDUSTRY GOES TO SHIT U PEOPLE THINK THE BROKERS ARE THAT VALUABLE WITH THEIR THIEVING WAYS AND TAKING ALMOST 50% OF THE LOAD AWAY FROM THE DRIVERS WHO HAVE MORE RUNNING COST THAN ANY BROKER OUT THERE PERIOD U PEOPLE ARE THE REASON THIS SHIT IS FUCKED UP
Fuel is not the problem brokers are taking 50% or more of our money and they don’t have the spend we have they killing us and the making a lot of money our money
Agreed. I know drivers who get happy about loads paying 4000$ to the truck that are actually brokered at 10000$ 😑I feel so bad for us as drivers we get the crumbs but we are still grateful God is still God 🙏🏽
@@brandonthefreightbroker because companies don’t want to work with us they say that brokers find 20 trucks if the need it, but if we go brokers will go, big companies have ther own brokers they will go out of business with out us
Im a broker and carrier, fuel have big impact ,but freigth rate are to low ,And also to many brokers and new owner operator drop the market down ! I called a shipper that I been doing a load for him,For $3000 ,I paid to carrier $2700 , and he said another broker offer it $2200 because he has a carrier to covered
I prepared myself for this, I can sit for months if I want to, but right now I'm just taking short loads and good paying LTL loads. The rates the brokers are advertising are insulting to my intelligence.
@@lunardozamzam6001 Well then you can hardly blame the brokers. Leasing onto a company guarantees lower pay. But you don't have the over head or the need to book your own loads. Just maintenance and fuel. Insurance is a major expense 2 to 3k per month depending on many different factors. I would still try to negotiate the rate on every load.
Indeed...tell it as it is bro'... Yet as most things in life it's easier said than done... Having multiple streams of revenue is the ideal scenario... the "know how" to make it happen it's a different monster in itself... Sure, one can start with a second stream of revenue and do it by the seat of their pants...learn as you go... and it's a good start better than no start... But having multiple streams of revenue with high efficiency and performance to the point of you don't "need" the revenue anymore at least on a temporary basis when hitting roadblocks, that level is elite and a special skills set and attitude is needed...
Shippers and carriers are finally refusing to waste money on brokers who aren't contributing anything. 2022 will probably be the end of the brokers taking advantage of them, because they're realizing that brokers aren't there to help.

Do you need the broker? Why not go direct? Curious.🤔

Hi Brandon. Would you consider this a bad time to start a brokerage?
Not if you’re going to do good business…. That’s just my opinion
I’m about to start in the incoming months. My eyes are open.
Knock it off.
MAYBE WE SHOULD ALL BECOME BROKERS AND FLOOD U GUYS OUT OF BUSINESS
😀😀😀😀

You brokers are the problem. What happens when you brokers can’t move your freight.
ok...if freight doesn't move the price is usually the problem.
