No excuses for such a short life, except that’s what we get today. Junk Chinese motors with junk Chinese bearings. 😢 A friend had a toilet supply fail last month. Water dripped into his furnace directly below that bathroom. Next day a new supply hose for the toilet and a new IFC in his furnace.
3:49 when did carrier redesign the inducer? IIRC the "square Box " ones were expensive. if that many are on backorder then clearly theres some type of manufacturing error.
the problem with the top of the line stuff is the after warranty parts costs. they really aren't more or less diy friendly - the info needed to understand how it works is all in the service manuals.
Off topic for sure, but have to ask? Why do Americans wear shoes in there homes? As a Canadian were shoes off. As a tech in our dealings, I carry my shoes to mechanical room if needed. But you get the odd call where shoes on from entrance ( think we all know what that means ). Honestly just curious. Have holidayed in the states but not entering homes. Seeing tech videos see it all the time
I guess your company shouldn’t install that Carrier line😂
I know it's a busy time of year for you. I am really enjoying the frequent uploads! Thanks for all the hard work!

I always steered customers away from infinity. Not worth the cost of parts after warranty.
That was the first time I seen how to remove that inducer cover, thanks Joe.

So where was the exhaust port on the exterior? Hopefully not under the deck like mine is/was
I have a 2020. Infinity that runs great. Wish I bought a cheaper one for eventual repair. Not much is DIY friendly.

Shoes are ON at ALL times as a safety thing.
Electrical shock, foreign object into the foot, etc.
If they wish, shoe covers can be worn.
What is that s flex gas line and a shut off inside the furnace cabinet.
Is that legal where you are?
I noticed that, too.
Sure would make for one interesting heat exchanger replacement.
wtf y dont ppl shovel i call them b4 adv shovel or call som1 elese not breakin and bones 2 that bs
Man majority of the modulating evolution furnaces, the inducers are noisy. Bad design or motors
