As a person who was a decent junior and college tennis player, BB is a LEGEND. He had a fearless mentality and a true warrior. His IQ is off the charts. "Tennis is chess with running". Best line.
as a tennis lover from the age of 5 a non German who today live in Germany I think that the German people should cherish Boris Becker as a living legend.
It was sad for me to see how he was so easily criticized by the German media for something that he did, unwillingly and unknowingly.
He is a legend and a great person.

I don't know deeply about Tennis, I have never played the Sport, but I must say that the way Boris taught the aspiring players is commendable. He got his experience of his career. He is a great coach.

As the public we love Boris, he captured the nations hearts in 1985 & remained a favourite as both a player & commentator. But like Al Capone, Lester Piggott etc found out, if you don't pay the taxman then no matter how big a star you are you end up in big trouble.

Best tennis video on the internet. Boris has a open mind about how things are done in tennis( many ways) love how he says the serve and return dynamic is like the Western gun fights. Being a Gunsmoke fan I totally get it. Growing up in baseball I often looked at the pitcher / batter dynamic exactly like that. Those things make sports fun.

Boris, always with a tongue in cheek and an excellent communicator and trainer. Hope to see Mr. Becker as a coach for future stars. I also want to thank Boris for all the matches on the ATP Tour, I'll never forget the big matches when we grew up that gave us 70's kids a taste for more and inspiration to play tennis at everything from beginner, amateur and professional level. Memories from Grand Slams with opponents like Stefan Edberg, Ivan Lendl, Andre Agassi and you also gave the next generation a boost with development for future generations, which has borne fruit and which we enjoy today. Federer, Nadal and Djokovic wouldn't be where they would have ended up in the rankings without you and your teammates in the 80s and 90s. Thanks Boris! ❤ /André Sweden

Watching this and Listening to Boris is just fascinating! As a player in his prime, he was absolutely awesome, and quite possibly the most powerful player in the history of Tennis??
Let alone his booming Serve, his Groundstrokes had a completely different sound to them than any other player……when he cracked his backhand, or fizzed a forehand, that Ball really did pop, and more often than not, he completely overwhelmed his opponents like this !!
Sampras better in all aspects
This is it; these tennis legends - Boris, Ivan, Goran, Stefan, etc. -, are worth all the money in the world, their advice on (and off) the court is priceless. If I was a pro I would rather pay top buck to be coached by legends like Boris than skimp (save) on coaching. Nothing can match his wisdom; on point - no messing around -, guidance delivered with authority while very simple. I mean..these young players in the video probably don't even realize - they will eventually - the full magnitude of even being in the presence of one of the legends.

Mr. Becker, this is the most amazing video in tennis I ever watched. A very high IQ and realistic video on tennis. Give you a 10! As for the 'kids' , yes they have a dream that at the time it may be a blindfold to the rest of their lives, but again, you may need that dreaming mentality for now.

Most great players don't have the ability to teach, Boris Becker,on the other hand able to transcendent is capacity super exceed his capicity to translate what is often misunderstood at the capacity of a novice player. 40:45 boris becker's elbow is f'ing gigantic. Like he's got an extra bone there.
I come from Squash and Badminton. There is no such thing as a weak backhand in Badminton or squash. I resent tennis players who play with a two handed back hand. It never even crossed my mind to do a backhand 2 handed.
I haven't attempted a badminton back hand pop in tennis yet. But I'm gonna try it, I reckon nobody else does it. I think my thumb is probably strong enough, I'm a big guy.

I was hoping to see Boris hit a few balls when I clicked on the video that was suggested by RUclips. Thumbs up to a great teacher, we all wish I'm sure that we had him on the court with us.
True - unfortunately it wasn't easy for him to run a proper training with his health, but still we do think that he made a great job! :)

It was a great master class by a great champion that Boris was and is, winner of 6 grand slams (with the historic victory in Wimbledon at the age of 17) apart from other great tournaments. Perhaps it would have been good to go deeper in certain subjects like the performance in every surface (grass, hard court, clay, indoor carpet) because there are players who are good on one surface but don't reach the same level on another, like Boris, who was excellent on grass or carpet but not the same on clay. Another aspect that would have been good to review is what is done with the money once players start earning good one, perhaps Boris was not the best example in this aspect, but he could have given recommendations based on his experience. I'm sure he got many lessons learned from what happened to him. I know that this is a very personal aspect where it is difficult to give recommendations, but at least what surely should not be done could have been dealt with

You can hit your bh in an open stance as well, if you're pushed wide out you have no choice but hit an open stance bh (Djokovic would be a great example).
